Cycle 5: Throat Cycle: Ages 29 – 35 ~ Finding Your Voice, Truth, and Purpose
Astrologically, this cycle coincides with Saturn’s return, which is known as a time of maturity when we suddenly grow up and step into our true, life purpose. Astrology and the chakras dovetail perfectly with this since the throat chakra is also about your authenticity and your deepest life calling.
At 29, your focus shifts away from the calm energy of your heart to the activating masculine energy of your throat. Any romantic relationship that began before this cycle will only endure if it supports your authentic self. Relationships that were based solely on physical attraction or the easy connection of the previous heart cycle will be tested and will either deepen into something richer or fall apart.
The key to weathering this cycle is to embrace your desire to discover your true life calling and be willing to take massive, courageous action towards it. Learning to let go is essential during this CLC too, because anything that isn’t deeply right for you will tend to collapse. Yes, you’ll need to grieve any losses, but after you have, your best attitude toward anything that has fallen away is “good riddance,” because it has made room for the really important, new stuff to manifest.
