When challenged with the question on many women from older generations “Don’t you think it would be important to have a woman elected for president in the US?” She replied “I don’t vote with my vagina, this is bigger than that and I don’t want to spend a lot of time talking about Trump and Hillary because that’s not why I’m here.”
These words are precisely the point. We are always pushed into arguing over one side vs the other. Trump vs Hillary. But that only pushes us to pick sides and identify with one or the other which ultimately leads us to simply pick on the other person every time ‘our’ person gets attacked.
Why not talk about the issues? The important things that a candidate will do and not just talk about what someone won’t do or isn’t good at and so forth?
A quick side before going forward, at CE we encourage readers to think differently about the elections. We’ve been challenged for exposing Hillary’s corrupt nature so much with allegations of being misogynistic. This is a perfect example of what media has trained us to do, avoid the truth by calling someone names for making a good point.
We don’t support Trump nor Hillary. And that’s how any news source should be. You report on what’s happening, what the mainstream media refuses to cover and let the people make up their own mind. It’s shocking only because people don’t see it in the media normally.
