Ron Paul Debunks Racist Claims on CNN

An apparent smear campaign has emerged and is perpetuating false rumors about Republican [Libertarian] Candidate Ron Paul (R-TX).  The New Republic Magazine ran a hit piece that attempted to derail the Ron Paul campaign by claiming that racist remarks were made in a Ron Paul newsletter yet libertariannews.org says they omitted the fact that the article was authored by someone else yet the magazine claimed Paul wrote it though they knowing that he didn’t.

Libertariannews.org added that The New Republic covered up the fact that they were aware of exactly who wrote the article yet blamed Ron Paul.  An analogy was also postulated on libertariannews, “For example, do you think Arianna Huffington reads every single article that appears in the Huffington Post? The blog bears her name, should she be personally responsible for all the content that appears on her site, even if she didn’t write it?”
