DEFINITION:

Our mothers are the ones who teach us how lovable we are.
Our mothers are our first nurturers, but they could only provide unconditional healthy love for us to the degree that they received it themselves.
Millions of women and men suffer from the mental, emotional, energetic, and spiritual harm caused by the mother wound.
The good news is, when you fully heal your mother wounds, you recover a tremendous amount of personal energy, empowerment, confidence, liberation, and joy.
It’s been my great honor to help awakening women (and some very special men) to heal their mother wounds at the highest and deepest levels so they can step into greater health, wealth, happier familial and love relationships, and lasting inner peace.
Now let’s take a look at some of the forms the Mother Wound can take.
FORMS & SYMPTOMS:
How many of these describe you and your life today?
- I am an over-giver and am often exhausted and stressed because it feels like MY needs and desires are often on the back burner.
- I have a hard time setting boundaries. There are people in my life who “push my buttons.” (mother, others)
- My income and financial nest egg are not what I’d like them to be. Even when I manifest “extra money,” it seems to go right back out again.
- I feel like the black sheep of my family.
- My mother was emotionally / physically unavailable.
- My mother was (or still is) judgmental, controlling, narcissistic.
- (If I am a mother) I feel I didn’t fully bond with my child, or I am estranged from, or lost, 1 or more children.
- (If I am not a mother) I wanted to become a mother but never had the opportunity and now it’s too late.
- I have a hard time relaxing and receiving. I feel like I constantly have to be producing, going, doing, whether that’s cleaning, helping others, or earning money. I feel guilty if I try to just “do nothing.”
- I have health challenges such as immune or autoimmune disorder, foot or back pain, digestive issues, low energy.
- I have anxiety and/or depression, or I attract people who do.
- I have a hard time expressing myself (especially with my family!). I often unseen or unheard.
- My self-love and self-care (eating, exercise, sleep, meditation) could be better. There’s always something else to do.
- I have issues with addiction or seem to attract partners who do.
- I feel creatively blocked or lacking in purpose.
- In intimacy, I am still not delightedly partnered, and don’t know if I ever will be.
- I feel disconnected from my body, from pleasure, from joy.
- My spirituality and intuition are inconsistent. Some days I feel tuned in, other days, it’s crickets. “Is anybody listening?”
ALL of these issues are symptoms of the Mother Wound.

The main 3 types are:
(1) * CHILDHOOD MOTHER WOUNDS = Wounds from your mother or mother figures
(2) * MOTHERHOOD MOTHER WOUNDS = Wounds relating to you AS a mother
(3) * DIVINE MOTHER DISCONNECTION = Wounds of feeling separated from the Divine Mother / Goddess / Feminine Essence.
You may be more negatively impacted in some of those, and stronger in others.
If any of the 3 are affecting you today, whether consciously or unconsciously or even energetically, then you still have a mother wound to heal.
