Abraham Hicks: You Came Here For A Very Important Reason

Source: Inspired

Abraham-Hicks delivers a highly inspirational message about why you are here and how you can live your best life.

You are here in these bodies for a reason. You are magnificent creators in the most delicious environment in which to create. Because here on this leading edge, creative genius that you are, your thoughts turn to things. Your thoughts, turn to experiences and to sensations and to the manifestations of emotions. Your thoughts turn to evidence of things. Your thoughts turn to material things to experiences.

You are here on this leading edge because you are a physical being in physical environment who have intended to have physical creations. And all of this conversation about energy can sometimes lead you into a place different than what you intended. In other words, when you calibrate yourself to the vibration of your inner being, you know what your inner being is thinking about? Life on planet Earth.

When you calibrate yourself to your inner being, you know, what your inner being is thinking about? Things that you’ve been asking about that are physical in nature that you put into your Vortex. Your inner being is thinking about your financial remuneration. Your inner being is thinking about your relationships with your girlfriends and your boyfriend’s. Your inner being is thinking about your relationship with your children and your employer’s. Your inner being is thinking about the things that you’re inventing and discovering. Your inner being is thinking about your rendezvous.

Your inner being, hear this, is thinking about what pleasure you might have in this moment as you allow yourself to rendezvous with the things that you have put into your vortex.

So, when we talk to you about physical and non-physical inner being and you, when we talk to you about your emotions, when we talk to you about your point of attraction, your true point of attraction which is where your inner being stands, we do not seek to split you up. We seek to bring you together. But when we bring you together, when you come into vibrational concert with your inner being, while you are here in this physical body, you know what that concert of you and you is focused upon? Life on planet Earth.

It’s about living with each other and loving each other and acknowledging each other and uplifting each other. It’s about seeing the things that make you feel like you want to praise them, it’s about happy, it’s about evolution, it’s about expansion, it’s about more, it’s about color, it’s about brightness, it’s about sound, it’s about music.

In other words, don’t let yourself think that all of this conversation that we have, while it’s spiritual in nature and vibrational nature, don’t let it distract you from the importance of you being here in this physical body. You’re supposed to be here in this physical body. And you’re supposed to like being here in this physical body. You’re supposed to like your physical body. You’re supposed to feel honored about being physical in this time and space.

And the more you calibrate to who you really are, the more you will know all of these things, the more you will feel it. We don’t want you to be an action junkie, but we want you to be a physical junkie. We want you to be addicted to your your physicality. We want you to want the evidence of your spirituality to show up through your physicality. Those thoughts are going to turn to things because you live in a physical world. We want you to resign yourself to the inevitability of your success.

We’ve been saying feel the awesome power of non-resistance, thought feel the awesome power of non-resistance thought. And then we tweaked to just a little bit: feel the awesome, pleasure of non-resistant thought.

Because you are not the one that gathers the power and then throws it over there to make things happen. That’s the difference that Esther discovered to is the difference between seeing herself as getting out into the next segment and making it be the way she needs it to be in order for it to be the way she wants it to be. And accomplishing the vibrational shift in herself and the Law of Attraction then bringing to that shifted self those things.

She likes the picture of Wizard of Oz. Do you remember the good witch that came in a bubble? So Esther likes that picture of herself in that bubble, she’s wearing a different dress. Moving out into the world as that powerful point of Attraction. Yeah.

Do you know you’ve got it now? You are in your mastery exploring the world, and discovering things that you don’t want. And they’re not bothering you one bit, because in your knowledge and mastery, you know you need not choose one thing that you do not want.

Understand the power of your focus. And so if there’s something that you don’t want and, you know it, but you look briefly and then you divert your eyes and your attention to something that feels better, you’re in control of your vibration. Embracing variety, liking choices, liking choices from the buffet, but wise enough to know that you need not linger someplace, you don’t want to be. And if you don’t, there will be no vibrational attachment on your part.

And once you are truly a master of how you feel, we don’t mean always feeling good. We don’t mean having only positive emotions. We mean having an awareness of when you’re aligned and awareness of when you’re not, and at least choosing it, just doing it on purpose, being deliberate about it.

But as you come into this alignment, as you are demonstrating through your alignment, that’s the way life is supposed to be. There is nothing that you cannot be or do or have. And this life will just keep pointing out to you. And you will never reach the place where you have beat it or do’d, it or have it all. There will always be something more that you are reaching for…

How To Get Your Mojo Back If You’ve Lost Your Motivation According To Tony Robbins

We have all had this one moment when we just gave up on everything and suddenly, with a snap of the fingers, you felt free. Escaping responsibility is a temporary relief – one that may take the pressure off, but since our anxiety and worries tend to stem from within, we also carry them with us. Therefore, any change should stem from within, regardless of circumstances.

One person to have mastered the secrets of “not caring anymore,” is Tony Robbins. This is not to say that Robbins doesn’t care, but rather he found a way to be at peace with himself and take everything in stride. There are no bad experiences, only opportunities to grow.

We have taken Tony’s Get Motivated advice as inspiration to write our 6 step practical guide.

1. Free Yourself of the Constraints of the Present

Most people are too worried about the present that they don’t see the big picture. Instead, Robbins advises individuals to seek that inner source of motivation and balance. Whatever the circumstances and whatever you do in life, you can find a way to be at peace with yourself.

Creating a vision is not pegged to continually pushing yourself down. Short-term goals and something as simple as a list of tasks can lead to a more fulfilling present without constantly chasing the next benchmark, deadline or professional achievement.

While those are important, Robbins believes you should create a life dynamic where you are not pressured but still apply yourself to the fullest.

2. Exercise and Be Active

Physical exercise is not necessarily everyone’s go-to form of entertainment, but it carries its own set of benefits, improving cognitive function, boosting self-esteem and even leading to a longer, healthier life.

Exercise in the morning, as Robbins practices it, is designed to give your body and mind that necessary jump-start that will often replace other artificial stimuli, such as caffeine. Think you have stopped carrying?

Why not shake yourself off the lethargy with a quick exercise session that will help you find your focus and achieve clarity. Not carrying is just admitting that you are unsatisfied with your present situation and seeking a painless way out.

Clarity, Robbins says, is what you need to find your way out.

3. Focus on What You Love Doing

There is no need to fall in some pattern and pursue specific goals that are not stemming from within. Success comes when you do what you love. Robbins recognizes though that people often take this the wrong way.

To many people, doing what you love should feel an effortless undertaking, but in fact – it’s the opposite. Doing what you love means that you overcome the small challenges that crop up daily to achieve results and move forward – grow as a person if you will.

4. You Probably Need to Recharge

Finding a hobby that keeps you in check is often recommended. You won’t perhaps grow much practising your hobby, but it would provide you with much-needed relief. Escapism or otherwise, winding down is what recharges the batteries.

Something as simple as enjoying your favourite show might be enough to make you snap out of the humdrumness of real-life and launch yourself back in new pursuits in a bid to make your life meaningful.

Your hobby doesn’t have to be mind healing like Tai Chi if that’s not your thing, even something as unusual as learning stand up comedy would be perfect. You will be equally satisfied and put yourself in a more positive mental state.

5. Reduce how often you think about finances

Many of our day to day problems can stem from having financial problems. These can be difficult to overcome and affect us all no matter our wealth or lack of. It’s a common myth that people with money don’t think about their finances as much as those that are struggling to pay their bills.

However, the truth is that everyone overthinks their financial circumstances. If you have a car, you want a better one, if you have a small TV, you want a bigger one, even if you’ve just been lucky enough to win a large pot of money as this man did, you’ll be thinking about money.

How to make more and how to spend it takes up an equal share of your energy and mind. It’s very difficult but try and put time blocks in place where for the next 3 hours you’re not going to think about how you’re going to pay something.

6. Find Inspiration in Others

We all tend to copy from one another. While finding a mentor to teach you and watch over you seems a long-shot, you will still be able to read up on all the fiction or nonfiction you can find, watch the movies that really inspire you and listen to the speeches of people like Robbins yourself.

Inspiration is all about establishing a dynamic, a state where your brain is perpetually looking to find something new and exciting – a permanent state of curiosity as it were. Even the most lethargic mind, so long as it has had some basic training, will respond to an interesting fact or something that it can grasp in full or at least perceive the potential of.

When you study a new language, you might not comprehend the entire meaning of passages, but you can feel they are beautiful. The secret to finding inspiration is to hone the skills and awareness you need to find inspiration not only in others but in the surrounding world.

Lastly, you may think that giving up is an easy way out, but it’s not. It tends to be wasted energy that will weigh you down even more in the long term. A far better solution, according to Robbins at least, is to find the things you love and then do them. Feeling a little out of it just now? Find your perpetual inner source of inspiration and follow it unfalteringly.

The Incredible Power of “What If” Questions | Michael Beckwith

Michael Beckwith reveals the power of “what if” questions. When you ask ‘what if’ questions, you will start to notice little tiny miracles happening in your life.

What if all my needs were met? What would I be doing in my life? What if everything is really working together for my good? What if all the bad things that happened in my life are leading me to activate some great potential in my experience. You ask ‘what if’ questions and you start to notice little tiny miracles happening in your life. Things start to manifest and you don’t know how they got there.

We are vibrational beings. You know, we’re not just flesh and blood. If you put anything under a microscope, an intense microscope, you can ultimately see that everything is vibration. And as the scientists are not telling us, there’s information there. But it’s not solid. It’s always moving. So we’re vibrational beings. So when we lift our vibration to what we want to experience, it happens, first on a vibratory level and then it shows up and manifests in our life. So people who are holding onto rancor, animosity – they’re slowing down their vibration.

Another way of saying is you cannot have what you’re not willing to become vibrationally. If you do get it, you lose it. This is why people that win the lottery, they lose everything. Or they’ll finally get the person they think they want to be with – they can’t keep the relationship. Or they’ll get a modicum of success, but can’t hold on to it because inside they weren’t vibrationally aligned. They really hadn’t become it. So you can temporarily manipulate and get things, but to have it completely, you have to lift your vibration and become that in vibration.

You’re not really attracting things to you. You really radiating. Potential is always bigger than the problem. Potential is always bigger than the problem. Your potential is infinite and is always bigger than whatever problem you’re going through. So when you begin to have a vision, which is establishing intention, beginning to see visually the kind of life you want to live, beginning to have a conversation about that kind of life.

I tell people you have to talk about it more than you talk about your problems because at the end of the day, if you’re complaining more than you’re talking about your vision then your inertia. So there’s a shift that takes place where you actually talking about the possibilities more than you’re talking about your issues. You don’t deny the issues, bad things have happened to people. You’re not denying that those things have happened.

But if you start talking about possibility, even if you don’t know how to get there, then your energy starts to go up. You know, what if? You ask a what-if question, you know: “What if all my needs were met?” “What would I be doing in my life?” “What if everything is really working together for my good?” “What if all the bad things that have happened in my life are leading me to activate some great potential in my experience?” “What if God really is on my side?” You know.

You ask ‘what if’ questions and you start to notice little tiny miracles happening in your life. Things start to manifest and you don’t know how they got there. When circumstances and situations are pressing in upon us, the only way we can overcome them is to go within – to actually begin to ask very empowering questions with the awareness that this universal presence and it’s law will answer any question that you ask.

So if you’re in a situation that is pressing on you and you ask “What’s trying to emerge in my life? What is my gift to share? What is my purpose? Why am I here on the planet?” You ask empowering questions, the universe will answer these questions in a language, and in a way that you can understand.

They’ll be inner prompting, there will be intuitive hits, nudges, signs, symbols, dreams. It’ll come in the language of the individual soul and heart. The difficulty is that when people are in tough situations, they asked disempowering questions. Well, they say what’s wrong? Who’s to blame? Why me? Those are the disempowering questions. So the universe will answer those too.

It’ll pull on the database of human experience and say, “you were born on the wrong side of the tracks, or “you were born on the right side of the tracks.” “This happened” or “that happened.” It will give you a bevy of excuses. But if you ask an empowering question, you’ll get an answer to rise above the muck. So it’s all about the question, the sincerity of the question and then the ability and the willingness to really listen, to really be available. That’s where the juice is. And that is available to every human being whether an individual is in prison, whether an individual’s imprisoned by circumstance, imprisoned in their own mind about an event that happened in their past. It doesn’t matter. Once you ask with sincerity, the universe will answer. That’s the way it operates.

Christ the anointed one physically showed us the Way, the Truth, and the Life, that we may always remember that we have life abundantly. Because we are Truth! One with all that is.

Remember friends, Life is for the Living. Choose to live well.

Much love to you, Julia

The Experience of Being ‘In the Flow’: How People Achieve The State of Brain Flow

National Human Genome Research Institute – CC license

By Karen Michele Nikos-Rose | UC Davis

You are playing such an intense video game and are focused so intently on getting to the next level that you don’t know what is going on around you. You have no sense of time passing. You feel great. You are “in the zone.” You are experiencing flow.

You are running a marathon, and you are so focused on the finish line that you barely experience any pain or tiredness until you are done. You are experiencing flow.

“Flow is a state of peak enjoyment that occurs when you are doing something that is difficult and you are highly skilled at,” explained Richard Huskey, a University of California, Davis, assistant professor of communication and cognitive science and author of a new paper on flow.

Flow is said to be good for our well-being—and there is evidence that it can ward off depression, prevent burnout and make us more resilient. We seek it out, but we don’t understand how the brain enables flow very well, Huskey said.

Looking at flow in media use

In an effort to see what the brain does during flow, Huskey led research looking at how people experience flow while playing a video game. In a paper, which was published in the Journal of Communication this month, more than 140 participants played a video game. Some took part in an experiment while playing a game and self-reported their experiences. Others also subjected themselves to brain imaging so that researchers could look at how their brains functioned during flow.

Flow happens, Huskey said, when activities are engaging enough to fully involve someone to the point of barely being distracted, but not so difficult that the activity becomes frustrating.

Similarly, a video game designed for a child will probably not keep an adult inflow. There must be a balance, he explained. When there’s a balance, the person experiences an intrinsic reward. Things like getting to the next level or earning points matter, but they become secondary. Simply playing the game and experiencing flow is rewarding in and of itself.

The flow requires a high level of attention. To measure this, researchers distracted the players at various points in the game with a probe—a red circle accompanied by a tone — which appeared on the screen in one of the game’s four corners. Participants were asked to respond to the probe as quickly as possible.

Previous research has shown that when people focus their attention on one task, they become slower to respond to these probes. Therefore, if flow requires a high level of focused attention, then people should be slowest to respond when the game’s difficulty and the player’s ability are in balance. This is exactly what the researchers found, and it may explain why people are able to focus on tasks during flow while ignoring distractions.

How the brain processes flow

Very few regions in the brain are responsible for just one cognitive process. So, there is no “flow” region in the brain. Instead, flow results from networked interactions between multiple brain regions. When several brain regions are densely connected with each other but sparsely connected with other regions, this is called a “modular” network configuration.

Importantly, modular network organization is energetically efficient. Research shows that during complex tasks, this modular configuration often reconfigures by connecting different brain regions into a new modular organization. This reconfiguration is called “flexibility,” and it is thought to help people adaptively respond to difficult tasks.

“In our study, we showed that flow is associated with a flexible and modular brain-network topology, which may offer an explanation for why flow is simultaneously perceived as high-control and effortless, even when the task difficulty is high,” Huskey said.

In other words, the brain inflow is pretty darn efficient.

“Imagine looking for your keys in the morning,” Huskey added. “If you don’t know where your keys are, you’ll need to visit every room in your home and turn on every light. This will require a lot of energy. But if you remember where your keys are, even if you leave them in a different room each day, you can efficiently travel to the right room and turn on only the necessary lights. In many ways, this is similar to the brain during flow — only the necessary brain structures are networked together in an energy-efficient way.”

In the experiments, researchers showed that a balance between game difficulty and individual ability results in high self-reported flow, high levels of motivated attention, and a flexible and modular brain network topology.

People’s flow observed

Of the 140 people studied at two universities, 35 were observed in a functional MRI where they held the game controls, a button box, and trackball close to their body while the MRI machine functioned. The others were at a desk, operating the computerized game with a standard desktop computer.

Inflow, people recognize the task’s demands and proceed without requiring excessive amounts of energy, Huskey said. Flow could, then, relieve the stress of competing demands in our lives, such as pandemic stresses, an overwhelming task at work, a family problem, or all of the above.

More research is needed outside the lab setting. But this work, published in the Journal of Communication,  is a good start toward looking at how the body can be resilient, Huskey said. Researchers should examine linking measures of well-being with neural responses.

That could inform researchers on developing certain treatments, or even media interventions, to improve people’s flow for their own well-being, Huskey said.

What Positive Thinking Can Do for Your Health

Health professionals have a lot to say about the benefits of positive thinking. In layman’s terms, people who think positively tend to be healthier and more likely to stay well than those who don’t.

It’s been said that personality traits such as optimism can have a beneficial effect on your health and play a critical role in stress management. As to what is considered positive thinking, how it can help you, and how you can implement it, we’ll cover that in this post.

What is positive thinking?

Positive thinking is focusing on the good in a situation or everyday occurrence. It’s avoiding negative and pessimistic thoughts and focusing on how things could be better. People who consistently have positive thoughts are considered optimists.

For example, when an obstacle comes your way, like having a flat tire, you think about how everything will be okay. You say positive words and imagine everything working out in the end.

Positive thinking doesn’t mean you’re blind to all the world’s problems. While you know the world isn’t perfect, you realize there’s only so much you can do. You focus on the things you can control, and you think about the best possible outcomes.

How positive thinking benefits your health

While there are many benefits positive thinking can have on your health, we’re going to focus on three big ones in this post.

Stress and anxiety

Positive thinking is said to help with dealing with stress and anxiety. Even if bad news is delivered, like losing a job, positive thinking people don’t let it break them down. They might be sad and frustrated, but they realize losing a job isn’t the end of the world. Instead, they find ways to carry on with their normal lives and find a new job.

Achieving goals

Optimistic people believe in themselves, which makes them feel more relaxed about achieving their goals. For example, when optimists want to stop drinking alcohol to improve their health, they don’t get demoralized if they slip up. Instead, they focus on how they can avoid slipping up in the future.

Adopt healthy lifestyle

Positive thinking can lead you to believe in a better future, which means you are more inclined to make healthy choices and live a healthier lifestyle. For example, if you’re going out for dinner, you would choose a dish that is lower in calories and cholesterol. You would also be more likely to engage in physical activity to help burn the excess calories.

How to practice positive thinking

A key part of practicing positive thinking is recognizing when your self-talk or inner thoughts are negative. You want to realize you’ve engaged in negative thinking and what you can do to change your thoughts into positive responses.

Take a look at these three scenarios:

Scenario 1: You’re given a task at work that seems too complicated for you to understand. Instead of giving into negative criticism about how you’ll never be able to figure it out, you want to think about how you can approach the task differently. You want to see if there’s another angle you can approach or if there’s someone who can help you.

Scenario 2: You ask someone on a date, but they reject you. Instead of thinking there’s something inherently wrong with you or the person you asked out, think about if there was anything abnormal about the situation. Maybe you came on too strong, or they’re not interested in dating someone. Analyze the situation for a bit, figure out what you can improve on, and move on.

Scenario 3: Your local coffee shop is taking your favorite drink off its menu for a new one. Instead of thinking how much you hate the coffee shop for taking away your favorite drink, think about if the new drink will be any good. Give the new drink a chance, and if it isn’t any good, consider trying another drink or even a new coffee shop.

Positive thinking isn’t something that can be achieved easily. It takes time, effort, and practice to change your mindset from negative to positive. But with all the benefits it offers, you wouldn’t want to miss out. Plus, it’s no fun to have your mind dwell on negative thinking consistently.

“Performing a gratitude practice twice or three times or even just once a week can lead to a pervasive, long-lasting impact on subjective well-being. The key thing is it has to be the right gratitude practice. And we’re going to talk about what the right gratitude practice looks like.” ~ Andrew Huberman, Stanford Neuroscientist

Stanford Neuroscientist Andrew Huberman explains how this very specific type of gratitude practice can positively change your whole life – both mentally and physically.

Life Choices that Impact the World

Even after settling a great dispute, some resentment is likely to remain.

Can this be considered a true settlement?

Only by cultivating the virtue of wholeness and by returning injury with kindness can there be true harmony.

Therefore, one of deep virtue always gives without expecting gratitude.

One whose virtue is deep treats the world as if they were the debtor, holding the left side of the tally.

They willingly repay the world through serving others.

One who is partially virtuous treats the world as if they were the creditor, holding the right side of the tally.

They think the world owes them something and should repay.

Although the subtle Way of the universe holds no favoritism or partiality, it always supports those who are naturally virtuous.

Taken from the Tao Teh Ching, verse 79

A life choice that changes the world ~ be willing to risk returning injury with kindness and to end on love, no matter what.  May we, collectively choose this way of being and let our light shine brightly.

The utter relaxation from all mental and physical strains which comes from stopping your thinking and replacing it with DESIRE FOR JUST ONE THING — INNER JOYOUSNESS — will immediately begin the cure of any bodily ailment or mental disturbance.

The Masses Are Awakening to Jab Dangers and Mandate Madness

Source: The Highwire (Del Bigtree and Jefferey Jaxen report)

Renewed lockdowns are being implemented, in lockstep, by unpopular governments as protests surge. With more than 400 studies showing scientific evidence of both the failures and harms lockdowns generate, populations are beginning to see something more sinister at play. More and more people are awakening to the dangers of the jab and the insanity of the lockdowns (see all of the links below under Resources).

  • Biden’s three mandates have been halted by the courts
  • In a poll taken by Good Morning Britain, 89% said they don’t want mandates for Omicron
  • 54% of likely U.S. voters are concerned about the potentially harmful effects of the Covid-19 vaccine
  • The Democratic-controlled U.S. Senate approved a Republican measure that would overturn President Biden’s vaccine-or-test mandate for private businesses

Meanwhile, over the weekend there were massive protests against the draconian lockdowns in Vienna (Austria), Sydney (Australia) – chanting “Save our children”, and Prague (Czech Republic) – chanting “Freedom”:

Czech Republic: Thousands march through Prague against compulsory vaccination

As Del Bigtree noted: We are very fortunate that the U.S. constitution requires separation of powers (the Legislative Branch, the Executive Branch, and the Judicial Branch), AND that we in the United States are fighting to hold the line for the entire world.

How Does Spiritual Growth Impact Personal Growth?

Source: Unsplash

Personal growth is a nebulous concept, but spiritual growth has been scientifically studied and proven to build personal well-being.

In 2011, the American Psychological Association (APS) conducted research and found that even small amounts of weekly prayer or meditation can lead to significant changes in feelings of happiness up to six months later. From an outside perspective, it might seem like people who practice these activities would have healthy psychological benefits going into the future, but why does spiritual growth have a more far-reaching impact on personal well-being?

What Is Spiritual Growth?

Spiritual growth boils down to the realization of your true self and defining who you are as an individual. It involves the process of introspection with a willful purpose to seek consciousness and understand beyond existing and further looking into the universal truths. This holds great importance for every individual as it is a strong basis for a life filled with peace and harmony, free from negative feelings like anxiousness and fear.

Ultimately, it is one of the various ways to grow as a person-tougher, contented purposefully, and more responsible than before.

How Do You Develop Spiritual Growth?

To develop your spirituality, you must first have the powerful desire to change for the better. You must commit to seeking growth, for when the time comes that you look for reasons why you want to develop your spiritual growth, looking back on the first day of your journey would remind you not to quit halfway through the expedition.

Go Out and Connect with Nature

Going outside will help you clear your mind and allow you to appreciate the simple things in life and all God’s creation.

Spend Time in Prayer

Talking with the Creator will allow you to seek comfort from all the struggles you had through the day and create an unbreakable bond between you and Him. You may also incorporate prayers with your night routine that seek to improve the community like prayer for peace, grace, or safety.

Be a Blessing to Others

Rather than asking for more blessings, being a blessing for others can significantly help you grow your spirituality.

Read and Understand the Bible

Learning the teachings of the Lord through the bible would help your live a life centered in Christ, and this will greatly help in giving the right reason for what has happened to you through the years. Reading through its pages would allow you to have affirmations for spiritual growth.

Reflect at the End of the Day

Reflective practices will allow you to be more conscious about yourself and less about the mistakes of others.

Never Hesitate to Commit Mistakes

Committing mistakes is the best way to learn and grow from your previous self, as this will magnify the truth that no one will be as perfect as Him.

Begin With Small Progressions

Remember to take small steps at a time. It is important to know that we are not in the same race because we run at different paces and sprinting in a 10km run would do you harm more than good.

What Are The Stages Of Spiritual Growth?

There are four stages of spirituality. Familiarizing yourself with these four stages will allow you to put context to your life. Introspecting would enable a clearer vision of where you are now. It is essential to point out that the following stage is not considered “linear”-stages and may vary in different aspects of life.

The Victim

In this stage, an individual believes that he/she has no power over a particular event in his/her life and can do nothing to control the situation.

The Manifester

This stage is when a person surrenders to God or the Universe. He/she then realizes that he/she is made with a larger purpose in life and not just do the things he/she wants.

The Channeler

It is when an individual starts to trust God and begin to do the work that is meant to be done in his/her lifetime.

Being Consciousness

In this final stage, an individual becomes mindful that he/she is the universe and is not tied to this particular lifetime. He/she understand that all of us are a part of the vast network of universal consciousness.

What Is The Importance Of Spirituality In Your Life?

Apart from the ultimate goal of reconnecting to the Great Creator, growing one’s spirituality offers great importance in people’s lives, backed by proof that is highly linked with improved overall well-being and health.

Meditative Practices Help People

Meditative practices like praying, yoga, journaling, and meditation would help improve relaxation, calmness, attention, and concentration. According to research, meditating helps increase the density of grey matter of a person’s brain, positively enhancing a person’s immune system, reducing pain sensitivity, stress relief, and improving emotional handling. Praying induces feelings like hope and empathy towards others which helps a person’s overall well-being. It also serves as an individual’s ultimate “go-to” when difficult situations arise. Journaling allows you to contemplate your life and where you are heading to. This allows you to feel more resilient as life challenges you. Yoga helps people to release pent-up emotions and tension and significantly lowers the feelings of anxiousness and being depressed.

Live Longer with Spiritual Growth

Studies suggest that having a well-established spiritual life is highly linked to the reduction of mortality rate by 18%. It further indicates that the mortality rate reduction of spirituality is similar to consuming large quantities of fresh fruits and vegetables.

Make Better Choices from Strong Spirituality

Indirectly, spiritual growth is linked to making good choices in life and getting rid of unhealthy decisions that may cause harm to them. Studies show that individuals with a strong spirituality are less involved in drinking, smoking, violence, and crime.

Overcome Traumas with Spiritual Strength

Seeking solace in religion or spirituality can be of great help to people trying to overcome life traumas from wars fought, trafficking, and other traumatizing events. These comforts that people receive allow them to live their individual life with a meaningful purpose. This will enable them to see the silver lining of every difficult event that has happened to them through the years.

Replace Negativity with Forgiveness

Establishing spiritual strength enables an individual to let go of all past negativities and replace them with a better outlook on life. In particular, growing one’s spirituality would require forgiving yourself and others. In return, it promotes a long line of benefits like improved body function and immunity, lengthened span of life, improved health, and reduced emotions of hurt and anger.

Final Thoughts

Spiritual growth can be undoubtedly linked to having well-improved overall well-being.

With all the things said, achieving personal growth through growing one’s spirituality can be easily achieved through purposeful actions to improve oneself, regardless of age, gender, status, and experiences.

A Gathering of the Tribe | POWERFUL Short Film by Charles Eisenstein w/ Jon Hopkins & Aubrey Marcus

By Charles Eisenstein

I want to share with you a gorgeous rendering of my allegory “A Gathering of the Tribe” in the form of this 9-minute film conceived by Aubrey Marcus, with animation by Aldous Massie and an original score by Jon Hopkins. I narrated the piece, though not quite on purpose—it was part of the podcast last spring with Aubrey. Since it was done in a single take, the imperfections are obvious, and I kind of like it that way.

I said “my allegory,” but I really cannot lay claim to it. The story is in some sense obviously true, and how can one make up a true story? I’m just the one whom the story employed as its teller. It is the finale of my 2013 book, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know is Possible. I am planning to write scripts for more short films in the coming year, so stay tuned.

“A Gathering of the Tribe” TRANSCRIPT

Once upon a time, a great tribe of people lived in a world far away from ours, whether far away in space or in time or even outside of time – we do not know. They lived in a state of enchantment and joy that few of us today dare to believe could exist, except in those exceptional peak experiences where we glimpse the true potential of life and mind.

One day, the elders of the tribe called a meeting. They gathered around, and one of them spoke very solemnly:

My friends, she said. There is a world that needs our help. It is called Earth and its fate hangs in the balance. Its humans have reached a critical point in their collective birthing – the same point our own planet was at 1 million years ago. And they will be stillborn without our help. Who would like to volunteer for a mission to this time and place and render service to humanity?

Tell us more about the mission, they asked.

It is no small thing. Our shaman will put you into a deep, deep trance – so complete that you will forget who you are. You will live a human life and in the beginning, you will completely forget your origins. You will forget even our language and our own true name. You will be separated from the wonder and beauty of our world and from the love that bathes us all. You will miss a deeply yet. You will be unable to name what you are missing. You will remember the love and beauty that we know to be normal only as a longing in your heart. Your memory will take the form of intuitive knowledge. As you plunge into the painfully marred Earth that a more beautiful world is possible.

As you grow up in that world, your knowledge will be under constant assault. You will be told in a million ways that a world of destruction, violence, drudgery, anxiety, and degradation is normal. You may go through a time when you were completely alone, with no allies to affirm your knowledge of a more beautiful world. You may plunge into a depth of despair that we and our world of light cannot imagine. But no matter what, a spark of knowledge will never leave you. A memory of your true origin will be encoded in your DNA. That spark will lie within you in inextinguishable – until one day is awakened.

You see, even though you will feel for a time utterly alone, you will not be alone. We will send you assistance – help that you will experience as miraculous, experiences that you will describe as transcendent. These will fan that spark into a flame. For a few moments or hours or days, you will be awakened to the beauty and the joy that is meant to be. You will see it on Earth for even though the planet and its people are deeply wounded, there is beauty there still – projected from past and future on to the present as a promise of what is possible and a reminder of what he’s real.

After that glimpse, the flame may die down into an ember again, as the routines of normal life there swallow you up. But after each awakening, they will seem less normal. And the story of that world will seem less real. The ember will glow brighter. When enough members do that, they will all burst into flame together and sustain each other – because remember, you will not be there alone. As you begin to awaken to your mission, you will meet others of our tribe. You will recognize them by your common purpose values and intuitions, and by the similarity of the paths you’ve walked.

As the condition of planet Earth reaches crisis proportions, your paths will cross more and more, The time of loneliness, the time of thinking you might be crazy with the over. You will find people of your tribe all over the Earth and become aware of them through the long-distance, communication technologies used on that planet. But the real shift, the real quickening will happen in face-to-face gatherings – gatherings in special places.

When many of you gather together, you will launch a new stage on your journey – a journey that I assure you will end where it begins right now. Then the mission that lay unconscious within you will flower into consciousness. Your intuitive rebellion against the world presented to you as normal will become an explicit quest to create a more beautiful one.

A woman said: tell me more about the time of loneliness that we might prepare for it.

The elder said: in the time of loneliness, you will always be seeking to reassure yourself that you are not crazy. You will do that by telling people all about what is wrong with the world and you will feel a sense of betrayal when they don’t listen to you. You might hunger for stories of wrongness, atrocity, and ecological destruction – all of which confirm the validity of your intuition that a more beautiful world exists. But, after you have fully received the help we will send you and the quickening of your gatherings, you will no longer need to do that because you will know. Your energy will thereafter turn toward actively creating that more beautiful world.

A tribe’s woman asked: How do you know, this will work? Are you sure our shaman’s powers are great enough to send us on such a journey?

The elder replied: I know it will work because he’s done it many times before. Many have already been sent to Earth to live human lives and to lay the groundwork for the mission you will undertake now. He’s been practicing. The only difference now is that many of you will venture there at once. What is new in the time you will live in is that you will gather in critical mass and will each awaken the other to your mission. The heat you will generate will kindle the same spark that lies in every human being. For in truth, each one is from a tribe like ours. The whole galaxy and beyond is converging on Earth. For never before has a planet journeyed so far into separation and made it back again. Those of you who go will be part of a new step in cosmic evolution.

A tribesman asked: Is there a danger we will become lost in that world and never wake up from the shamanic trance? Is there a danger that the despair, the cynicism, the pain of separation will be so great that it will extinguish the spark of hope, the spark of our true selves and origin, and that we will be separated from our beloved ones forever?

The elder replied: That is impossible. The more deeply you get lost, the more powerful the help we will send you. You might experience it at the time as a collapse of your personal world, the loss of everything important to you, Later you will recognize the gift within it. We will never abandon you.

Another man asked: Is it possible that our mission will fail and that this planet Earth will perish?

The elder replied: I will answer your question with a paradox. It is impossible that your mission will fail. Yet, its success hangs on your own actions. The fate of the world is in your hands. The key to this paradox lies within you, in the feeling you carry that each of your actions, even your personal secret struggles, has Cosmic significance. You will know then as you know now that everything you do matters.

There were no more questions. Volunteers gathered in a circle and the shaman went to each one. The last thing each was aware of was the shaman blowing smoke in his or her face. They entered a deep trance and dreamed themselves into the world where we find ourselves today.

Here we are.

The Way of The Master: Life as Apprenticeship

By Gary Z McGee | Waking Times

“It is the height of selfishness to merely consume what others create and to retreat into a shell of limited goals and immediate pleasures. Alienating yourself from your inclinations can only lead to pain and disappointment in the long run, and a sense that you have wasted something unique.” ~Robert Greene

How do you become a prime mover? How do you become more self-determined, more self-aware, more responsible for your lot in life? How do you become your own boss, fully volitional, fully responsible, fully engaged, with more creativity, more adaptability, and more courage? How do you become a master?

It begins with self-apprenticeship. You must create your own momentum. Don’t be afraid of becoming an autodidact. Read a lot. Connect the dots. Seek out the shoulders of giants, not just to learn, but to see further than they did. Seek help, expertise, guidance, and wisdom from others, but then you must take responsibility for your own improvement. Take a leap of courage out of faith. Create a scaffold of knowledge. Its foundation is curiosity. Stay curious. Be Curiosity. As Joseph Campbell said, “follow your bliss.”

Mobilize your mind:

“Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.” ~George Bernard Shaw

The immobilized mindset is a handicap. Living a full life requires movement. What does not move is dead. Let the mind move, let the mind flow, let the mind grow.

Don’t let your mind settle. A settled mind is a closed mind. A settled mind tricks you into believing that you have figured things out. It inadvertently sacrifices reason for anti-reason. It uses anti-reason to buttress itself against new knowledge.

Remember: knowledge is always your master. Don’t let your ego fool you. One does not master knowledge; one only learns it. The mind is simply too fallible, too inflexible, too imperfect to become a master of knowledge. True self-mastery is understanding that knowledge will always be your master.

Which is all the more reason to keep your mind active, fluid, flexible, and mobile. Don’t get comfortable. Take risks. Embrace change. It’s when you fight against change when you deny it, repress it, ignore it, or rage against it that you suffer unnecessarily. When you embrace change, however, you’re in flow with it, dancing, flexible, and empowered, even when it hurts. Especially when it hurts. Because you know, pain is information. Pain is a teacher. Pain is a guide. Pain is merely procrastinating power. In the long run, it will make you stronger.

The ability to loosen your mind, to alter your perspective, to reimagine imagination is one of the most amazing powers you have as a human being. Cultivate it through mindfulness. Activate it through No-mind. Avoid fixation. Avoid attachment. Avoid belief. Ponder what is absent to create a flexible open-mindedness that can persistently overcome itself.

As Jeremy Hammond said, “Your mind is programmable—and if you’re not programming it then someone else will program it for you.”

Embrace the almighty metaphor:

“As our eyes grow accustomed to sight, they armor themselves against wonder.” ~Leonard Cohen

Reality is a great mystery. Honor it. Let it continually fill you with awe. Don’t seek certainty. Just seek. Be with the curiosity. Be hunger. Be love. Be on the edge of your seat, flabbergasted and entranced, astounded and gobsmacked, dumbfounded and engaged, detached and aloof with the interconnectedness of all things.

Certainty is the creativity killer. Certainty murders mystery. Certainty cripples mastery. Avoid it at all costs. Being certain gets you nowhere but stuck in a box, closed off in a mental paradigm, stifled by a tiny comfort zone, or blocked by an inflexible boundary. It puts eye guards on when peripheral vision is needed.

Employ strategies of awe. Plant a maze in your mind and watch it grow into a labyrinth. Explore it. Transform your eyes into Over Eyes, your mind into No-mind, your soul into Soul Craft. Transform your life into a Hero’s Journey. Confront threshold guardians. And when your mind becomes fixed and settled, strategically plant a minefield in the mind field. Then sit back and enjoy the explosion, as your mind is blown into new ways of seeing the world.

Everything in life is a Metaphor. From shapeshifting comes worldmaking. Life becomes art, and art becomes life. Forget genes. Forget memes. Carry my mythemes and astonish the world.

Embolden what makes you unique:

“I would rather be a man of paradoxes than a man of prejudices.” ~Rousseau

Carl Jung stressed that an individual’s proper goal is wholeness, not perfection. You will never be perfect, but you will always be unique. Let notions of perfection roll off you like water off a duck’s back. Then double down on your uniqueness.

Real power is emboldened uniqueness. Uniqueness is true power. Everything else is moonshine. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. Focus on what makes you unique, what makes you come alive. Split the smoke. Shatter the mirrors. Let your authenticity boldly blast through it all.

You are a slice of Fate. You might be made up of the same ingredients as other slices of Fate, but your slice is arranged in a way that has never occurred before nor will it ever be repeated. You are a one-time phenomenon. You are beyond a force of Nature. You are a force of Fate. Use it. Fuel yourself with it. Be the tip of the spear and pierce through your life with purpose and meaning.

Becoming who you really are is shedding the skin of who you were conditioned to be by culture and then embracing the new skin of your reconditioning. It’s shaving away the superfluous and embracing the numinous.

When you are able to do this, you unleash your calling, your inner voice, your primal howl. This voice is intuitive, inquisitive, and hungry to be heard. If you listen intently, you will feel your own potential and your deepest longing to create and express your own uniqueness. This uniqueness is your life’s purpose. But it isn’t there for a reason. You must give it a reason to empower you.

Use probability to stay ahead of the curve:

“Consider nothing impossible, then treat possibilities as probabilities.” ~Charles Dickens

Truth or delusion is both a tripwire and a balancing wire. Either way, you go, it is precarious. One man’s truth is another man’s delusion. Fortunately, there is validity and probability that you can use as a benchmark, as a way to measure what is more likely to be true.

A good rule of thumb, when faced with potential invalidity, is to ask: “Sure, it’s possible, but is it probable?” True mastery comes more from embracing and being fascinated by mystery and less from intellectualizing and labeling it. It’s more of a detached obliteration of “baskets” than a codependent clinging to them.

The key is to keep your eggs free of all baskets. Don’t settle on any single bedrock of thought. As Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.” Just flow through it all. Keep questioning. Keep swimming. Keep searching. Use probability as your Occam’s Razor.

Because nobody is off the hook for being wrong. The best we can do is get better at recognizing the hook for what it is so that we are less likely to get dragged away by it. By developing and practicing disciplined strategies for cutting the line and negotiating the hook before the Fisherman of Closemindedness can reel us into his Boat of Dogmatism.

Real mastery sharpens itself against probability. Keep using the sound tools of logic, reasoning, and probability. Keep deflating self-important seriousness into authentic sincerity. Have fun with it. Laugh at it. Play with it. Tease it. Dance with it. Reimagine it in ways that shock your soul into heightened awareness. Shoot yourself in the foot before someone else does, or before the passage of time deems your work outdated or uncouth.

Ever tried. Ever wrong. No matter. Try again. Be wrong again. Be wrong better. This will keep you ahead of the curve. It will keep you sharp against entropy. As it turns out, you are more likely to be right by admitting that you are more likely wrong than by declaring that you are absolutely right.

Allow healthy skepticism and intimacy with probability to become your shifting bedrock, your foundational quicksand, your liberated measuring tool. This is the apprenticeship. When you are free to swim in the waters of uncertainty rather than remain chained to the pillars of certitude, you are more likely to achieve mastery.

Release Your Mind and You Will Look Upon a World Released

“Release Your Mind and You Will Look Upon a World Released” does this resonate? It can if you desire so.Release the burden

These days of living in a perfect storm, conditions have allowed for much mayhem and disease. The mayhem is potentially engineered and the disease is the result of lower energy vibrations causing imbalance.

When we ascertain that our bodies are dense matter as are our emotions, whether high or low, then we can also gain knowledge that another system is at work. Energy, the unseen (by many) force that carries our bodies and holds all matter still, to be seen by our physical eyes. With an understanding that energy is at play in and around all existence, then also comes the knowing that perfect storms rise and fall away. They are but a frequency and our experience of any storm depends on where we are tuned.

We can choose to dial into the perfect storm frequency to experience it or to aid others in it. We can adjust our frequency so the storm effects are minimal, knowing that as storms rise, remain for a period, so they also dissipate. Then, we can behold the aftermath of the storm with upset or with wonder. The wonder is from a inner knowing that renewal is a creative process of energy.

I write these words after listening to Jacqueline, Oracle Girl say, “hang on” and as she has stated many times, “it’s just a frequency”. I know this from the depth of my being and it is collaborated by our historical past and the sage words of masters throughout the ages.

Can we tune into a frequency that experiences as the fabric of this Universe? The flexible mesh of breathing, living, dynamic interconnectedness. We all have a role to play and how we play affects one another. Strife and factional behavior, is it productive? Conscientious objections, do they work? Tuning one’s own frequency to a vibration of love with a knowing that we are all One. Is that the answer?

Ever since I first began listening to Oracle Girl, I have resonated with her words and energy. We all have the potential for self healing, our world has the self healing ability. The key is tuning in, being aware and allowing this high energy to flow in and through us.

Our world will take care of herself, she is resilient and strong. Our experience with her in this present moment now depends upon aligning our intellect with our Subtle body (the intellect is part of dense, physical, temporary body and benefits when we “bow down” so to speak to the eternal Subtle essence that is Us). Living with this knowledge fosters hope.

As Ross encourages through this newsletter and as he and others use their life force to educate and encourage, join in. Be part of something huge, beautiful, glorious – a unified collective showing forth physically with strength and resilience, through LOVE. It is your birthright and you have the ability to “tune in” to all around and in you, for the good! Truth resides within you, as it does everyone. Your belief informs how you express it.

Much love to you my friend, Julia
