Someone in the family can also be rebellious.
Taurus 21 April – 21 May
You might find yourself surprised this week by just how passionately you defend your ideas. Even if you're someone who's generally easy-going, the desire to defend what you see as right and proper, can be very strong indeed. When it comes to your financial situation, your ideas especially may not mesh closely with those of a partner, be they business or personal.
Gemini 22 May – 21 June
Venus in your sign forges an absolutely sparkling alliance to your ruling planet of Mercury. This can add significantly to your natural charisma, and is wonderful for mixing and mingling with others. You can also find yourself feeling much more intensely passionate, and there could be somebody who is capturing your imagination who dominates your thinking, Gemini.
Cancer 22 June – 23 July
Last week's Full Moon continues to radiate powerfully into this one, and this can see you juggling your own personal priorities with the needs and opinions of those you are closely involved with. Your instincts are going to be very important in this regard, and someone could say something that though apparently light and breezy, can carry a profound message.
Leo 24 July – 23 August
With Mercury making his way through your zodiac sign and angling up brilliantly to Venus, your natural charisma can shine brightly in the first half of this week. But are you going to really relax enough to let this happen as much as it could? You may find yourself being preoccupied by very intense and deeply personal issues. Try to ventilate these with someone you trust.
Virgo 24 August – 23 September
Your friendship sector is bursting with energy, but there may be more than one person or group of people who are competing for your attention. Whilst it's nice to be popular, it's also going to be important to keep everyone in the loop. In love, someone at work may surprise you by showing a greater interest, although they may or may not show their hand obviously.
Libra 24 September – 23 October
With the Sun in an obtuse angle to Saturn, any hopes you have to push forwards as far as your career is concerned, need to be tempered by just how much nervous energy you have. If there are any politics around your situation at the moment, they could prove draining. Fortunately, there is a superb opportunity to do something more playful, so do take this.
Scorpio 24 October – 22 November
Charm and quick wits can work wonders as far as your professional aspirations are concerned. But you do need to try and stay flexible. The fallout from last week's very potent Full Moon is still high, and it's going to be important to pick and choose the battles you take on. If you're travelling anywhere, give yourself permission to float along at your own pace.
Sagittarius 23 November – 21 December
Someone's value systems may not mesh with yours in a particularly neat way. In fact, in general, there's lots of planetary energy which suggests we could take very entrenched positions and find ways to be at odds with one another. Equally, with Venus in a splendid part of your ‘scope angling brilliantly to Mercury, you could choose to keep dialogue open.
Capricorn 22 December – 20 January
A relationship matter may still be very much on your mind. But it's important for us all to understand that nothing and no-one is perfect. If you have a justifiable reason for moving away from someone, then you'd be right to consider your options. However, if you can find a way through the impasse, seize it. Things are all just seeming a little more intense than usual.
