Astrology Overview for August 19-25, 2019
Last week's Venus infused Full Moon continues to pour its energy into our situations. Full Moon's are said to bring issues to the surface that need addressing. Because this one occurred in the sign of community, Aquarius, it is possible that as we start this week we are still balancing an issue between our personal needs and expression and collective will. Venus in its opposition to the Moon did bring a potential for healing, or at least the softening around more difficult or tricky situation.
So as we enter this new week getting practical about whatever it was that needed redefining, is going to become even more of theme. Part of the reason for this is that Mars powered into Virgo late last week. In this location this fiery planets' ego expression can be funnelled through the fulcrum of industry, precision, hard work, detailed planning, and application.
He is joined on Wednesday by Venus moving into Virgo and then on Friday by the Sun. In fact the last days of this week see a wonderful stellium between the Sun Venus and Mars all conjunct in Virgo. Now this is a combination that can be very charismatic and attracting good things, be it social possibilities, or even a romantic focus. But in Virgo, purity is in the mix too so it may be that we want to show our affection, and pleasure by being supportive or helpful to others in some kind tangible way. This may not sound the most romantic prospect, but it can help us to ground our moves in reality.
The sparkling charisma of Leo is not at an end this week. Why? Well Mercury in Leo forges a gorgeous alliance with Jupiter. Ideas that are bold, dramatic, and expansive can work out well if combined with the precision of this Virgo shift.
There is a Quarter Moon on Friday to and this is in Gemini, like Virgo a Mutable therefore flexible sign, so the key here will be to make sure the for all our industry this week, we don't bite off more than we can chew and prioritise our energies and activities. If we do too much a little bit of fatigue could creep in as the week draws to a close.
