How to Get Out of the “Friend Zone”

Written by on March 20, 2019 in News Flash with 0 Comments

There is nothing worse than being in the friend zone with a girl you like. You’re stuck always hanging out with her, which is great and you enjoy it, but can never get to that next sexual level with her, which is terrible and makes you feel horribly. Basically, you’re torturing yourself by staying in this “Friend Zone.”

Luckily, our friend Alex Wise from Loveawake dating site offers several ways to avoid being relegated to the Friend Zone, and how to escape from it if you’re in it.

How to Avoid the Friend Zone

1. Flirt and Touch Her
These are keys. When hanging out with her the first few times, make sure to establish that there is some kind of sexuality between the two of you. Flirt with her, by touching her on the arm or back when speaking to her. Make sure to ratchet up the sexual tension between the two of you.

2. Don’t Always Agree With Her
This one is tough because, when we like someone, we tend to agree with them no matter what they say. Avoid this and create some tension by speaking your own opinions and mind and showing this girl who you really are.

3. Be the Leader
Instead of having her plan everything, which will give her the power to place you in the category she wants, you take the initiative and plan the events and hang-outs. On top of this reason, woman also like men who lead.

But if you haven’t avoided these trappings of the friend zone, while tricky, there are ways you can escape the friend zone.

Escaping the Friend Zone

1. Stop Hanging Out With Her
Don’t always return her calls right away. When she wants to hang out, say you’re busy. In other words, put it in her head that you’re not always going got be there to hang out with her or listen to her complain about work or other guys.

2. Make Her Jealous
This one is easy. Nothing gets girls jealous like when guys they think are ‘theirs’ start hanging out with other girls. Tell the girl that you met someone, or are just hanging out with someone else. If you don’t have anyone else to hang out with, just make someone up. A small fib here isn’t going to hurt.

3. Change How You Look
When you do finally hang back out with her ‘- I recommend 3-4 weeks off from her -’ make sure your appearance is changed. Pop in some contacts instead of glasses. Change your clothes. Get a haircut. Anything to change your appearance. This is like a reset button in the relationship, so you want her to start looking at you in a different light.

4. Flirt With Her
Now that you reset the relationship, start flirting with her right away to avoid being placed, once again, back in the friend zone.

5. Kiss Her
There’s no reason no to now. She will probably get a little weirded out and may ask what you’re doing, but stay true to yourself, remain confident, and let her know what you want out of this relationship now. If she doesn’t respond, well, then at least you tried.
