What inventions will appear in the future? There was a time not so long ago when wireless phones and space rockets seemed crazy and totally impossible. But they’ve become pretty ordinary these days. Nowadays, an average adult in the U.S. spends about $1,200 on electronic gizmos a year. Apparently, this type of expense will only increase over time since we invent more and more gadgets.

As science steadily moves forward, who knows what’s next: levitating shoes, memory lenses, or invisibility cloaks? Bright Side compiled a list of eleven fantastic gadgets our grandchildren will likely be using in the future:

  1. Printable organs
  2. Wearable implants to monitor your health
  3. A device that’ll turn noise into electricity
  4. A laundry-folding machine
  5. Levitating shoes
  6. Robot suitcase
  7. Contact lenses that record memories
  8. Memory Urn
  9. E-paper and flexible OLED screens
  10. The pen printer
