Circling Opens Your Chakras: Practice These 7 Principles

Hello Beautiful Soul, I’m really excited this week to share a project I’ve been working on all of 2020 — Circling Space.

Circling Space will be opening (if all the tech stuff cooperates) in the first half of January 2021. It’s an online community where we practice the Art of Circling together.

And if you feel drawn to what I’m describing here, feel free to join us for a $97 LIVE, online ‘Intro to Circling’ Event for FREE. It’s my gift to you.

What Is Circling?

We get together in a physical or virtual circle and create a safe, resonant space where each person is able to be his/her most authentic self. Out of this kind of space, a feeling of more connection arises. And something called “Circling Wisdom” — deep, moving personal truths and collective synchronicities —naturally emerge.

In the future, CirclingSpace.com will have live events in cool physical locations, but due to Covid, at the start of 2021, all our circles will be online.

We’ll gather together on Zoom and do exercises as a group as well as in dyads. Or sometimes, we’ll just communicate freeform — with no structured exercises, topic, or agenda.

But there will always be one commonality: we’ll focus on 7 elegant principles that make up the foundation of Circling Space. If you want to experience each of these, sign up for our ‘Intro to Circling’ Event here (for free).

In the video above, I go over each of the 7 Circling Principles, so please watch that. Because, here in the post, I’m just going to state them directly with no description. I want you to experience them in their purest form before diving deeper into my interpretations.

Consider practicing them in your daily life too. You may not experience others adhering to them, but they can still have profound effects in your life when practiced outside of the circle unilaterally.

That having been said, please be sure to practice them only when you feel safe and inspired to do so.

One of the special things about Circling Space is the safety and compassion we collectively create by committing to our 7 Principles. And as I practice deeper embodiment, I’m aware it’s not always best to experiment with new ways of expressing or exposing yourself in environments where you don’t feel safe. That’s why our first principle relates to safety and connection.

So, let’s get to them, shall we?

The 7 Circling Space Principles (C.I.R.C.L.E.S.)

  1. CREATE SAFETY – Commit to confidentiality and connection.
  2. INQUIRE DEEPLY – Lead with curiosity and challenge your assumptions.
  3. RELATE FULLY – Explore the idea that everyone is your mirror.
  4. CULTIVATE SPACIOUSNESS – Slow down. Pause. Really listen.
  5. LOVE WHAT IS – Don’t give advice or circumvent your own discomfort by comforting or “fixing” others.
  6. EXPRESS YOUR TRUTH – Notice any impulse to censor.
  7. SHARE FROM THE 3 P’s – Start with your Physical sensations. Speak from the Personal “I.” Use the Present tense.

If you haven’t yet watched the video above, perhaps take a few moments to feel into what these words mean to you before hearing my explanation. Your personal, instinctual take on them is probably the most important one for you.

Also, feel into what chakra(s) are related to each principle.

And if you enjoy these circling principles, come explore them in our free ‘Intro to Circling’ Event.

Hope to see you in circle soon, Dear One!

Discover Your Chakra Type And Expand Your True Abundance

Free Chakra Abundance Audio Recording here.

There’s a big myth in the transformational world that I want to put to bed once and for all. It’s the idea that there are prosperity-boosting or personal growth techniques that work for everyone equally.

That’s a big fat lie. It’s just not true.

When it comes to personal transformation and the process of creating true abundance, ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL.

In fact, a technique that works for a person with one type of energy field may be the worst thing another type of person can do!

Take meditation, for instance. Meditation is a beautiful thing. So everyone thinks they “should” do it — lots of it. I’m certainly not going to say anything negative about it. It’s a generally good thing.  But some people are already “meditating” 24/7. Some people are so oriented in the upper, most spiritual parts of their energy field that further meditation only causes them to be more imbalanced and to have more of the corresponding issues that come with being energetically off-balance. Those kinds of people should not be doing more meditating (and very cerebral people who use their meditation time to think more aren’t benefitting either).

And the opposite is true too. Some people really need to ground down in these fast moving times of ours. But there are other people who are already so grounded that they are bordering on (or experiencing full-fledged) depression. They have enough heavy, downward energy. If you tell them to do grounding exercises, you are compounding their imbalance

True abundance takes into consideration the entirety of our energetic experience. For instance, it isn’t just about being wealthy. We all know people who have lots of money, but are miserable. They may have lots of toys, but they likely do not have one or more of these: joy, great health, loving relationships and an enriched spiritual life.

Still, the importance of material prosperity cannot be ignored. We’ve all also know people who have a deep, spiritual life, satisfying relationships and good health, but can’t pay the rent or support their family and consequently feel disempowered some huge areas of their life.

Abundance means being empowered in ALL of our chakras. And the journey of becoming centered and empowered varies for each one of us, depending on our already-existing tendencies.

I’ve created a program called Chakra Abundance that helps you identify your specific Chakra Abundance Type , so you can engage in the right kinds of transformational practices that will center you more in yourself, rather than take you further off-center.

The video above gives you a glimpse of what it’s about. I hope it provides  you with a clearer understanding of where your natural tendencies lie, and opens you up to new personal possibilities. There are three different Chakra Abundance Types identified in the video — Upper-Dominant, Lower-Dominant, and Split. Which do you think you are? One thing I forgot to mention in the video is this: none of us fit perfectly into any category ever (thank God!). We are always a unique mix, like for instance, mostly Upper-Dominant with a bit of Split. Still, using the categories can give you a sort of loose map that helps you on your journey of balancing your own energy.

My wish for you is that you expand into your fullest potential and experience all that you came here to do and be!

Love, blessings and total abundance,

Vicki

Chakra Balancing In Yoga Studios – The New Fitness Trend

Fitness is about balancing both the mind and the body! That’s where Yoga comes in. Through yogic postures, the body gets healed and restored. It also helps the body to connect with the mind and live healthily. Yoga also balances the chakras in the body. Today, the wellness and fitness centers have realized that imbalances in the body result from imbalances in the chakra imbalances. It is the reason why today; wellness therapists are offering chakra healing and balancing therapy.

What is chakra healing?

Simply put, chakras are considered to be energy disks in the body, situated along the spinal column from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. There are seven chakras in the body, namely:

  • Root Chakra
  • Sacral Chakra
  • Solar Plexus Chakra
  • Heart Chakra
  • Throat Chakra
  • Third-Eye Chakra
  • Crown Chakra

Each of these chakras is linked to various body parts. For instance, the solar plexus chakra needs to get balanced when a person faces issues related to digestion, gastritis, heartburn, and the like. Emotionally, problems like lack of self-confidence, issues with control, and self-esteem can all get linked to the solar plexus chakra imbalances. Chakra balancing therapy can help immensely. To know more on this, you can check out https://www.theopenmindspace.com.au.

Yoga studios and chakra balancing

Today, most yoga studios provide chakra balancing therapy. These studios have dedicated healers or therapists trained in this healing modality. When you opt-in for chakra healing and balancing, you can get expect the following:

1. A personal chakra scanning

Chakra balancing works close to medical treatment! The healer or the therapist needs to understand which chakras are over or under activated, to start the healing. They begin by scanning your chakras. Additionally, the therapists also ask questions to know more about a person’s emotional health, mental condition, personal life, and the like. Some healers also check on the diet as it helps them make an in-depth analysis.

2. The healing process

Your healing process starts the moment the healer identifies the weak chakra. Sometimes, the healer needs to activate a chakra and on other times balance a chakra. Other than the regular healing sessions, the therapist also suggests a lifestyle change. It can include replacement of sleeping time, food, practicing meditation, using herbs, and many more. It is essential to update your healer about the changes that you witness. That way, they can guide you better.

The benefits

There are multiple advantages to chakra balancing. The important ones are:

  • It helps to reduce your fears and increase your confidence. People who have opted-in for chakra balancing witnessed a calm, mental peace and rise in self-esteem.
  • It helps to heal body issues as well, such as cholesterol, anxiety, cluster headaches, nausea, and many more.
  • It keeps your body agile and fit. When the chakras are balanced and clear, your body will automatically feel better and healthy.

You don’t have to fall sick for receiving Chakra healing! You can opt-in for it to lead a better life as well. Make sure you choose an esteemed wellness center who can provide you the same.

11 Easy Ways To Boost Your Sacral Chakra For More Joy, Sensuality & Ease

In a workaholic culture like ours, your second chakra energy is your lifeline. Your second (aka sacral) chakra is the orange, water-element chakra in your hips. It’s the home of your sensuality, playfulness, and ease. It’s the place from which you feel, rather than think, and it’s your pleasure center; the big “Ahhhhh” spot in your body.

If you work a lot, a robust second chakra can balance your workload and put you into a more joyful healing space. So, today, I’m going to share 11 ways to help you boost your second chakra. Read the list on this post to get all the ways, and watch the video to hear what happened when one of my clients wore my Sacral Chakra Tattoo.

Before you even read this list, I want you to commit to doing at least three of these Sacral Chakra activities in the next three days.

Deal?

Okay.

Here’s How To Put More Va-Voom Into Your Sacral Chakra:

1. Get a Swedish massage.

Notice I did not say Shiatsu. You don’t want anybody poking and prodding you. Unless of course, you find that extremely pleasurable and delicious. My recommendation is a soft, deep, flowing Swedish massage, with some aromatherapy mixed in.

2. Play with a kid. Or if no kids are around, grab a hula hoop and play on your own!

Playing with a kid will put you into your second chakra faster than anything. Kids are the pure embodiment of the playful energy of the second chakra. Focus on imagination games or highly physical ones like jump rope and hopscotch (cause you’re never too old to hopscotch!).

3. Eat or drink, orange sensual foods. Oranges and mangos are two excellent choices.

Chocolate is excellent too. It stimulates the pleasure centers in the brain that immediately put you into that yummy, second chakra zone.

4. Take a luxurious, hot bath.

Alone or with a partner. Make it an event. Take Your time. Use candles and delicious scents.

5. Get emotional.

Our busy day-to-day lives and our tendency to honor what we believe to be proper social decorum means we are usually stuffing our emotions pretty regularly. Built up emotional energy is never a good thing. So put some time aside to really allow yourself to feel. Tap inward and give yourself permission to feel and release whatever is there. Cry, scream, or just laugh aloud for no reason. Laughing is physiologically good for you! If you can’t laugh at will, then pull up some silly cat video on youtube and have a hearty chuckle.

sacral healing tattoo6. Wear A Second Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoo.

The tattoo is designed to boost your sacral energy – with it’s orange color, crescent moon, circular graphics, and sankrit symbol for the name of the name of the second chakra, it’s creates some powerful Divine Feminine energy. One client from Australia wrote me and shared an unsolicited story about how she wore my sacral tattoo and was inspired to pick up her paint brushes again after a 26 year hiatus.

7. Dance, especially in a sensual way, like belly dancing or pole dancing.

Google one of them, find a local class, and try it out. Why not?! You’ll definitely feel sexier and more alive afterward.

8. Wear orange, especially a soft, flowing fabric.

Silk, cashmere or faux fur are all good. Just choose what feels best on against your skin.

9. Draw or paint.

Or engage in any creative, artsy-craftsy thing at all. All forms of creative art stimulate the second chakra. Just make sure you color outside the lines (if there are any).

10. Enjoy a sensory deprivation tank.

Ironically, one way to feel more is to feel nothing for a while. Floating in a sensory deprivation tank is so womb-like and water-oriented that it may be one of the most quintessential sacral chakra activities. While in the tank, you feel nothing, so when you get out of it, you will feel everything and be more fully in your body. Check out the floatation tanks in Hove, provided by The Float Spa if you’re in the area.

11. Make love.

Take time to really truly connect with your partner. Before you even begin, talk about a few of the best times you’ve ever shared sexually. If you set the intention, this talking about your best memories will actually put you in the state of those times and increase the possibility of having another really great connection. Set aside the proper amount of time for it to be leisurely and deeply enjoyable. And if you don’t have a partner, make love with yourself. You know what you like better than anyone else.

Have you got more ideas on how to boost your second chakra? Please add them to the comments section below, so everyone can benefit. Also, if you wish to purchase some Sacral Chakra Healing Tattoos, you can do it here. Enjoy!

Love, joy and blessings,

Vicki

What’s Your Chakra Awareness Level? Take This Quick Quiz

Today, I want you to consider the word “awareness” in a whole, new, broader way. I believe it’s really needed because in our modern day culture, we tend to associate awareness exclusively with the spiritual. In terms of your body’s energy centers or chakras, this means we almost always associate awareness with the upper chakras, the light and airy realm of pure consciousness.

But the truth is, each and every one of us has seven types of awareness, one for each chakra. Embracing all of these different types of awareness empowers us in a broader way and reduces any tendency to be judgmental or snobby about being more “aware” than others in the classical way.

Here’s a short description of what awareness looks like in each chakra (from top to bottom):

What Awareness Looks Like in Each Chakra

7th Chakra (Crown) – This is the typical, popular notion of awareness where you are deeply connected to the divine, and probably pray and meditate regularly. You see connection, oneness and divinity in everyone and everything and are sensitive to all living beings.

6th Chakra (Brow) – Here awareness is connection to your own higher self, your psychic abilities and intuition. You have great vision, insight and clarity about the big picture and across time.

5th Chakra (Throat) – Awareness in the throat chakra means you have a refined level of communication and personal expression. You are deeply connected to your truth and can only be forthright and honest. This means you naturally live in alignment with your true purpose.

4th Chakra (Heart) – In the heart chakra, awareness manifests as the capacity to be unconditionally loving – especially to yourself so your heart can remain open and connected to all. You have high levels of compassion, kindness and a gentle nature.

Note: At this point in the journey down the chakras, we now move out of the upper chakras that are usually associated with “awareness” and come into the more dense and physical lower chakras where we tend to think there is no awareness. The truth of the situation is that lower chakra awareness is different from the typical definition of the word.

3rd Chakra (Solar Plexus) – in the core, awareness manifests as a clarity about who you are and what you believe in. It also shows up as a clear understanding of how to take care of yourself.

2nd Chakra (Sacral) – here in the pelvis, awareness shows up as heightened sensitivity, creativity and sexuality, as well as a responsiveness to others in all relationships.

1st Chakra (Root) – Traditionally, since this is the lowest chakra and the “farthest” from complete consciousness at the crown, people think the root has no awareness. It most certainly does. But the awareness here is more physical than mental or spiritual. For instance, a person with a very strong root chakra will be very aware of their own body and their surroundings. While a person with a strong crown chakra may be somewhat oblivious to their physical surroundings.

Quick & Easy Chakra Awareness Test

Want to Know Your Overall Level Of Awareness is?

Rate each one of these statements on a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 meaning “Not at all true” and 10 being “Totally true” (do it fast, and be totally honest).

1. I am very safe and careful; I rarely have accidents.
2. I am totally comfortable with my sexuality.
3. I take confident action on my good ideas.
4. I am always loving and compassionate.
5. I cannot lie or do things that are not true to my nature.
6. I listen to my intuition and my Higher Self.
7. I feel energetically connected to everyone and everything.

Add up your score. 7 is the lowest possible and 70 is the highest.

If you scored 60 or above, you have an extremely high all-chakra awareness and are probably very balanced across ALL your chakras (and able to relate to all kinds of people).

If you scored 50 – 60, you have an above average all-chakra awareness and are operating out of your entire chakra field.

If you scored under 36 – 50, you have an average all-chakra awareness. You may want to work on boosting the chakras where you had the lowest scoring answer (the number of the questions represents the chakra it relates to).

If you scored 35 or below, you have a low all-chakra awareness and probably want to work on boosting and balancing all of your chakras.

Also, if you scored very low on questions 1 through 3 and much higher on questions 4 through 7, then you would benefit from working on your physical awareness (diet, work out, beliefs about your body). And if you scored very high on questions 1 through 3 and low on questions 4 through 7, you would benefit from working on your spiritual awareness (prayer, meditation, psychic development).

Can You Embrace These 5 Shadow Qualities for More Authenticity and Purpose?

Hello Beautiful Soul, this week we’re going to look at the shadow qualities of your throat chakra. Click on the video above to watch now.

If you haven’t yet seen the other videos in this shadow series, you can access them here:

Chakra Healing with Shadow Integration

5 Shadow Qualities of the Root Chakra

5 Shadow Qualities of the Sacral Chakra

5 Shadow Qualities of the Solar Plexus Chakra

5 Shadow Qualities of the Heart Chakra

As you may already know (but just in case you don’t), the throat chakra is blue, its element is sound/vibration and it’s related to your truth, authenticity, purpose and personal expression.

It’s the first of the upper chakras (consisting of throat, third eye and crown), which are related more to the spiritual than the physical realm. For this reason, the “negative” or “dark” shadow qualities come from a different dynamic than the ones in the lower chakras.

In the lower chakras (root, sacral and solar plexus), the dark shadow qualities come from having too much of the energy of a particular chakra. But it’s the opposite with the upper chakras. The dark shadow qualities in the upper chakras come from having too little of the energy of a particular chakra.

Why? Because growing up, our caregivers and culture teach us that it’s bad to be in our lower chakras and good to be in our upper chakras (or the heart and above) where love and spirituality resides.

This kind of socialization causes us to relegate our strong lower chakra and our weak upper chakra qualities into the shadow realm and pretend that they are not a part of us. And this pretending causes us to lose a lot of our chakra power.

Shadow integration is the realization that all our energy comes from one consciousness (the Divine) and we need it all to be whole. When we don’t integrate the shadow aspects of ourselves, they come out in subconscious (leaky) ways. When we understand that we are everything, we can act more consciously and accept all of ourselves and others. Shadow integration creates true peace both inwardly and outwardly.

Here are the 5 Shadow Qualities of the Throat Chakra

  1. Liar (Gift = Imagination)
  2. Aimless/Lacking Purpose (Gift = Being in the Moment)
  3. Fake/Inauthentic (Gift = the Ability to Play Bigger )
  4. Inexpressive (Gift = Mastery of Listening)
  5. Crooked (Gift = Playful, Powerful, Irreverence)

To Integrate These Qualities, Work with These Five Healing Methods

  1. Find the gift of each chakra quality. What does each shadow quality give you?
  2. Tap on each shadow quality. You can watch my video on tapping to heal your throat chakra to learn the simple and powerful EFT technique.
  3. Elicit memories of times you’ve embodied each chakra shadow quality.
  4. Love yourself (as a child or adult) when you’ve embodied each quality.
  5. Take back your shadow projections. One easy way is to fill out Byron Katie’s Judge Your Neighbor Worksheet and then do the work.

Of course both of my lists — the shadow qualities and the integration methods — are not exhaustive. There are more that can be added to each. So please share any you come up with here on my youtube page (it’s the best forum for making comments and asking questions).

Thanks for being on this spiritual journey with me!

How To Use Powerful Archetypes To Boost & Balance Your Chakras

While in Sedona, I got inspired to create this Chakra Archetype Meditation for you.

My goal was to create a hypnotic meditation that would help you step fully into both your feminine and masculine power. Obviously these two types of power are very different. Masculine power focuses on individuality, goal-orientation, and external accomplishment, while feminine power is based on connection, receptivity, and universal co-creation. Clearly, to truly succeed and be fulfilled, you need both types of power, which means you need to truly balance your chakras.

Related Article: Watch: 7 Signs That Your Throat Chakra Is Weak (and How to Boost It)

That’s why Tony Robbins often refers to two aspects of life — “the science of achievement” and “the art of fulfillment.”

What most people don’t know is that these two sides of you reside quite clearly in your bodily energy centers known as your chakras. You have seven of them that move up your spinal column from your tailbone to your crown. The odd chakras represent your masculine side and the even chakras are related to your feminine side.

Delving into your chakra archetypes is a great way to access both your feminine and masculine power.

YOUR CHAKRA ARCHETYPES

Your first chakra in your tailbone is masculine and related to grounding, safety, and stability. The archetype here is that of The Strong Father.

Your second chakra in your pelvis is feminine and is all about sensuality, sexuality, pleasure and ease.  Here, the archetype is The Seductress.

Your third chakra in your solar plexus is masculine and related to power, courage and aggression. The archetype here is The Warrior.

Your fourth chakra is in your heart center and is all about love, healing, compassion and connection. The archetype here is The Loving Mother.

Your fifth chakra is in your throat and it pertains to your authenticity, self-expression and life purpose. The archetype here is The Great Leader.

Your sixth chakra is in your 3rd eye center and related to your intuition, vision and psychic abilities. The archetype here is The Wise Intuitive.

Your seventh chakra is above the crown and represents the unification of all parts of yourself. Here, all the archetypes come together and you become one with Spirit; one with everything.

This powerful meditation will help you integrate all the amazing archetypes that live within you, so you can call on whichever you need at any time. And if you want to add to the power of this meditation, wear one of my Chakra Boosters Healing Tattoos for the chakra archetype you want to call in. Chakra Boosters have now been worn for chakra empowerment in more than 25 countries.

Open Your Throat Chakra with Two Simple Yoga Poses

In this post, we’re going to look at ways to physically boost your fifth chakra which is all about truth and purpose. This is part of a video post series of simple yoga poses you can do to boost each chakra, so if you haven’t seen the previous video posts, you can access them here:

1st Chakra Post

2nd Chakra Post

3rd Chakra Post

4th Chakra Post

Your throat chakra is called “Visuddha” in Sanskrit which means “purity.” And if you think about it – even just visually – the name makes sense. Look at your body. Your lower body which contains your first three chakras and the “bridge” chakra, your heart, create a fairly wide energetic passage way. Suddenly, at the throat, all the upward-moving energy of your lower body must be moved into the very narrow passage way of your neck.

Related Article: Open Your Heart Chakra with This Simple Yoga Pose

What this means is you must filter out some of the energy that wants to move upward. Like a four-lane highway narrowing down to one or two lanes, your throat chakra creates a sort of bottle neck where you may feel “choked up.” This is fine. It’s just doing it’s job and challenging you to get clear on what you want to express.

It’s important at this point that you get honest and forthright. What is important to you? What is your truth? What did you come here to do? The upper chakras require a certain discernment and the fifth chakra is a gateway to this upper, more rarefied field of yourself.

So, understandably, it’s easy to get stuck here, or to feel it’s near impossible to say your truth. The fifth chakra is a masculine chakra, so it is very connected to your third chakra, which is the next masculine chakra down. If you can step into your confidence, take action and be bold and decisive (all characteristics of the third chakra), then you will have the proper foundation for expressing your truth.

Also, if you can come from your heart, then you will have a way of communicating your truth in a powerful and inspirational way.

So, what I’m trying to say with all this is that your chakras are sequential. That is why I am releasing this series of simple yoga poses sequentially from the ground up.

When you do the squats of the first chakra, you feel grounded, present in your body and safe. From there, you feel stable enough to move into the pulsating exercises of the second chakra – such as cat-cow and stir-the-pot – and experience the easy, flowing sensuality. That ease then gives you the contrast to step into the masculine, “can do” fire of your third chakra with core exercises and/or breath of fire. Then, the determination of that fire gives you the courage to open your heart energy and finally, you can then open up the power of your voice in and express your deepest truth and purpose.

The pose I demo here will not only boost your fifth chakra energy, but it will also help strengthen your neck muscles and get them moving back into their ideal position. You see, our culture is looking down at smart phones and gadgets so much these days that we are literally beginning to lose our nature neck curves. And that’s not good. More and more of us have our necks jutting forward from all our habits of looking down.

Related Article: Boost Your 2nd Chakra Sensuality With Two Easy Yoga Poses

Your neck should be centered over the rest of your spine, and have a nice, soft C-curve. Your lower back should have one as well. They’re meant to echo and support each other. Watch the video above and practice it daily to gain back your neck curve and rediscover your true voice. As an additional exercise, you may want to sing loudly and freely whenever you’re in the shower. Enjoy!

Love and blessings,

Vicki

Discover Your Most Basic Human Needs & How They Relate To Your Chakras

Video Source: chakraboosters

(Note: You can watch Tony Robbins’ Ted Talk here — go to 10:50 for his comments on the 6 Human Needs).

In sports and most other areas of endeavor, you usually have at least a handful of people at the top; those who have worked hard and excelled way beyond the norm.

In the realm of life coaching, there’s really only one person who stands out all by himself and that person is Tony Robbins. As a life coach for more than 30 years, Tony has helped over four million people with his live seminars and countless more with his audio programs.
In other words, I think it’s safe to say that Tony knows human beings and excels as a life coach.

Related Article: How To Step Into Your Truth & Purpose and Be Free

The reason I point this out is because some people consider the human chakra system to be a very “out there” or “woo woo” topic, and I want to correct that perception. The chakras are very real. They are the anatomy of our spirit and because of this, they correlate to, and empower every aspect of our lives.

If you don’t belief me, just look at Tony Robbin’s work. Tony never overtly talks about the chakras. They would be too metaphysical for most of his wealth and achievement-oriented fans, but his life coaching system is truly founded on them.

When working with people, Tony always uses a basic guide, something he calls the 6 Human Needs. It just so happens, that these 6 human needs directly relate to the first 5 chakras in sequence like this:

1st Human Need = 1st Chakra = Certainty

2nd Human Need = 2nd Chakra = Uncertainty/Variety

3rd Human Need = 3rd Chakra = Significance

4th Human Need = 4th Chakra = Love/Connection

5th Human Need = 5th Chakra = Growth

6th Human Need = 5th Chakra = Contribution

Tony’s system dovetails perfectly with the chakras through to the 5th chakra, but then the upper chakras are never really addressed. This is probably due to the fact that the two highest chakras, six and seven, deal mostly with spiritual needs, and very few people are making these needs their highest priority (especially not the people who feel they need a life coach).  Still, they are HUMAN spiritual needs, so I believe we should include them.

What Tony has labeled as two different needs, growth and contribution, are actually covered as one need in the fifth chakra, which relates to finding and and living your true purpose. When you live your raison d’être, you grow and you contribute by default. The nature of a personal purpose is that it causes you to grow spiritually and to give the world what you came here to give.

So, I believe there really are seven human needs, each one corresponding to a chakra in the body.  Tony’s first four needs are spot on, directly relating to the first four chakras. From there, I would add:

5th Human Need = 5th Chakra = Purpose

6th Human Need = 6th Chakra = Connection to Divinity Within

7th Human Need = 7th Chakra = Connection to Divinity Outside The Self or to All Of Creation

The 6th chakra relates to the human need to be spiritually connected to one’s own higher self, inner voice and intuition — as well as one’s psychic abilities.

And the 7th chakra relates to the human need to feel connected to a source or God outside of ourselves (or to be connected to all of creation which is largely outside of us).

Since very few people have these needs as their first priority, they tend to get over-looked. Still, in this age of higher consciousness, they are definitely needs that should be recognized.

If you want some good methods for how to meet the need of your 6th chakra, try reading oracle cards, or doing lucid dreaming, journaling or meditation. They’re all good ways to connect with your own higher self.

For the 7th chakra, prayer, and meditation, energy healing and yoga can all strengthen your sense of being connected to a higher power; to something bigger than you.

Watch the video above and learn more about how the Tony’s human needs relate to the seven chakras. Ask yourself which needs seem to dominate your life. When you know what truly motivates you, you begin to be more self-aware and have more freedom to make non-habitual choices.

Real freedom in life doesn’t come from being free of external circumstances as much as being free from internal limitations.

Balance Your Crown Chakra With This Easy Visualization Exercise

In this post, we’re going to explore how you can balance your crown chakra really easily with meditation, prayer and visualization.

This is the final installment of a 7-post series, where we have looked at one f-word that captures the essence of each chakra. So far, we have covered the first six chakras and here are their f-words:

1st chakra – foundation

2nd chakra – flow

3rd chakra – fearless

4th chakra – forgiveness

5th chakra – forthright

6th chakra – feminine wisdom

And now, for the  f-word for the seventh chakra… Freedom!

The seventh chakra resides above the crown of the head, and is unique from the other chakras in that it is sort of a cord or portal to the divine. It’s what connects us to spirit and gives us a deep sense of inspiration and possibility. It’s our source of true freedom.

It can be helpful to think of the first chakra as total and complete stability (or negatively, as being “stuck”), and the seventh chakra as the polarity of that, pure freedom. They are opposites. The root chakra represents earth and the crown chakra represents sky.

Just as earth and sky balance each other, our physically-grounded body deeply needs the freedom and inspiration of our highest chakra, the crown.  Without it, it’s very easy to get depressed. With it, the sky’s the limit.

The easiest way to tap into spirit and balance the crown chakra is to meditate.  Many people find the idea of meditation intimidating. They think there’s a particular way you’re supposed to meditate, set up expectations of how meditating should be and decide they must be doing it “wrong.”

You don’t need to know any kind of technique, and you don’t have to worry about doing it “right.” You’re already spirit made flesh. Meditation is just a form of communion with spirit, life and/or one’s own “Higher Self.” As you sit quietly and simply breathe and be present, you honor and balance your seventh chakra.

A different, more active way to tap into your crown chakra is to pray. Again, there is no wrong way to do it. It’s simply communicating with the divine, as you see it. If you speak with heartfelt intention to whomever or whatever you see as your Higher Power, you’re praying.

One more way to connect with spirit is to use this easy crown chakra visualization:

Sit quietly with your eyes closed. Gently focus on the top of your head and imagine you have a sunroof there. See it slide open and imagine white light from the sky pouring into your crown and down your spinal channel. You can imagine that light energy going all the way to the core of the earth and then back up again, and out the crown like a whale’s spout.

This visualization exercise tends to make you feel lighter, more open and connected to spirit.

Of course, one final way to boost your crown chakra is to wear a 7th Chakra Healing Tattoo. A good place to put it is in the back of your “high heart” (between the mid-shoulder blades and the base of your neck).

Now you know the essence of each chakra in seven simple f-words. May your new year will be filled with all of them!

Open Your Heart Chakra with This Simple Yoga Pose

Opening our heart chakra is both natural and unnatural. The pose I demonstrate here is simple. It’s part of a series of yoga poses that open each chakra.

If you haven’t seen the previous video posts, you can watch them here:

1st Chakra Post

2nd Chakra Post

3rd Chakra Post

The important thing to realize about heart opening is that it’s totally natural for our spirit and utterly unnatural for our body. The latter is due to the fact that we have so many heart-closing daily activities in our culture. The main problem is that we sit in chairs most of the time. We even sit in one as we drive! This chair sitting tends to cause us to tuck our tailbone under and that action the rounds us and causes us to hunch our shoulders forward. Using a computer mouse at a desk or looking down and texting on a smart phone also tends to have the same effect. We roll our shoulders forward and inward.

To get the heart open, you need to reverse this chest collapsing, You need to elongate the front of your torso upward away from your waistline and then draw your shoulder blades down your back. This takes the head of your arm bones back and let’s your chest open. It causes your collar bones to “smile,” that is, to widen.

There are many more active ways you can do this heart-opening action, but here I’m sharing the most restorative version, so you’ll have no excuse not to do it (sneaky me!).

Think you’re too tired? This supine pose is perfect! You do it lying down and you simply allow gravity to help you open your heart by using either a bolster or blocks to press into the back of your chest and elevate and expand the front.

If you need a little motivation, keep this in mind: heart opening exercises give you a kick of the happy body-produced hormone oxytocin. So don’t be surprised if, a little while after you’ve done this pose, you’re smiling for no reason.

Now, if you add this back bend to the poses we’ve done so far, you have a short and simple yoga workout for your lower chakras. It is:

1st Chakra – Squat & Grounding Meditation

2nd Chakra – Cat-Cow & Stir-The-Pot

3rd Chakra – Locust & Boat Pose (with Breath of Fire)

4th Chakra – Lying over a Bolster or Blocks with Feet Together (long name= supta badha konasana

Do them sequentially and feel open and balanced.

Sending you much love,

Vicki

Do you suffer from any of these states?

~ Confusion
~ Lack of Confidence
~ Procrastination
~ Doubt
~ Issues of Self-Worth

If so, this activation meditation is for you. It will activate your solar plexus chakra in a powerful way, and will do so more and more each time you listen.

Years ago, the structure of this Golden Rod meditation came to me as I was working with a client who felt torn between her spiritual desires and earthly wants. I was amazed by the simplicity and beauty of the symbolism, and have used it successfully with many clients who have needed more energy in their solar plexus (“can do”) chakra.

Enjoy!

6 Simple Ways To Experience Your Innate Wholeness & Feel Great

Source: Chakraboosters.com

Most of us in spiritual circles already know we’re spirit embodied, and that we are whole and perfect. Still, we may not be experiencing it, and what good is it to be whole if we don’t feel whole?

In this article, I share some basic things that have helped me to remember my wholeness. The first five are covered on the video above, and then I just couldn’t resist adding one more that should have been in the video. It may be the most important one.

Here are 6 simple practices that will help you experience your innate wholeness:

(1) Do Chakra Balancing

Since our chakras (the 7 energy centers of our bodies) represent our entire energetic field from our densest vibrations to our most enlightened ones, chakra balancing is a great way to actually experience our whole Self. I have lots of great chakra balancing tips and meditations on my youtube channel that you can watch anytime. Heart-centering meditations (like ho’oponopono) naturally balance your chakras, because your heart is in your energetic center. When you go there, you tend to feel more balanced in all your chakras. Here’s a Chakra Empowerment Meditation you can listen to now:

And here are two heart-oriented meditations you may like as well:

Heart-Centering Meditation

Ho-Oponopono Meditation

You can also just create your own meditation. Simply feel into each chakra going upward and downward. The earthy red roots of your tailbone, the flowing orange creativity (and sexuality!) of your hips, the fiery yellow “can do” of your core, the airy green love of your air, the dynamic blue truth of your throat, the illuminated indigo of your third-eye, the bright one-ness of your crown – and then back down again.

(2) Celebrate and Focus on Trees

Trees can’t do anything but be whole, and they have a vertical energy field that is very similar to ours. If you feel into the way they spread their roots deep into the earth and also reach their branches up to the sky, you will feel your own wholeness by osmosis. This meditation will help you cultivate a natural connection with trees:

(3) Pursue Your Passions

The idea of “inspiration” is all about bringing in breath and spirit. When you do things that inspire you, you connect directly with your Higher Self, and when you connect with your Higher Self in such a purposeful and active way, you balance body and spirit, and can feel your innate wholeness. It’s that simple. So what inspires you and really revs you up?

(4) Follow the 50/50 Rule

The 50/50 Rule is a simple formula for taking care of yourself, and when you take care of yourself, you experience a greater sense of wholeness. The rule goes like this: whatever free time you have after your work, school, or other daily obligations, half of it goes to you , and half of it goes to all of the other people in your life combined. This may seem selfish, but it’s not. You can only genuinely give to others from your own overflowing cup, so you need to fill yourself up first in order to be generous with others. It’s like that airline rule that says you must first put the oxygen mask on yourself, even before your children, because only after you’ve taken care of yourself will you be able to safely help them. It’s really quite plain and simple: when we feel depleted, we can’t experience our innate wholeness, and we take good care of ourselves, we can.

(5) Spend an Equal Amount of Time Cultivating the Physical and Spiritual Aspects of Yourself

To take care of your body, make sure to eat healthy, sleep well and get enough exercise, and to take care of your spirit, make sure you have time for meditation, prayer, yoga or other spiritual endeavors. These two parts of ourselves can sometimes feel at odds — like they are splitting us apart. When you give them equal time, attention and value, you return to your sense of natural wholeness.

(6) Listen to Your Favorite Music

Perhaps the quickest and most consistent way to experience your innate wholeness is to listen to music you love. The vibration of music literally aligns us energetically. That’s why everybody loves music, because we can actually feel how it returns us to our true whole Self.

Balance Your Heart Chakra With This F-Word & Expand Your Heart (Video)

This is a continuation of our 7-video journey through the chakras. If you’d like to balance your other chakras too, here are the rest of the articles in this “F-Word” Series:

Up this week is your beautiful, heart chakra. The F-word for this chakra could be faith. But while faith is a very powerful positive characteristic of the heart chakra, it isn’t numero uno. That honor unequivocally goes to the act of forgiveness.

The heart chakra is the home of that all-permeating, healing energy we call love. In our culture we use the word “love” in so many different contexts that it can be a little confusing. In this healing context, I am referring to love as a powerful, pervasive energy that connects to others in a positive, life-affirming way. It is unconditional and all-encompassing, not connected to any thought or judgment. Love is just a feeling of positive, healing connection to another being, and the thing that opens the heart chakra most is loving connection.

Conversely, the thing that closes the heart most is the kind of judgment that gets in the way of this connection. When someone does something we don’t like, we may feel hurt. We may then judge what they did as wrong and decide on some level to not forgive them, to protect ourselves against the possibility they might hurt us again.

Unfortunately, the choice to not forgive creates a pain in the person who is unwilling to forgive. When we choose not to forgive someone, it can seem like we are doing something to them, like it’s some sort of retribution for the pain we feel they put us through. But the truth is we are hurting ourselves by blocking our heart energy.

So the healing energy of the heart is forgiveness — which is totally different from forgetfulness. When you forgive someone, you don’t have to forget what happened. Your life experiences are your teachers. You can take each one and make wiser future choices, so the setbacks and painful experiences in your life serve a positive purpose. When you forgive someone, you’re not giving them permission to do the same thing again. In fact, you may not even choose to have the same type of relationship with them. You’re simply choosing to let go of your righteousness and to release that tight knot of energy in your heart.

On the most basic level, true forgiveness is simply the acknowledgement that every single human being makes mistakes — you, me, everyone. When we get honest about our own fallibility and can fully forgive ourself, it becomes much easier to forgive others and to create an accepting, healing energy of love that benefits everyone. After all, each one of is us is basically doing our best at any given moment.

Forgiveness breaks through the barriers created by hardened judgment, and brings us back to connectivity and love.

The best tool I know for stepping into the energy of forgiveness is the Hawaiian practice of Ho’Oponopono. It’s very simple and profoundly powerful. Done on a regular basis, it will keep your heart energy open and expansive.

Here’s a Ho’Oponopono meditation I created that you can do right now:

May your heart expand through your commitment to forgive!

Love and blessings,

Vicki
