Deep in the forest of Overland Park, Kansas, little gnome homes started to sprout. The residents got curious about these little dwellings and their cute little furnishings that showed signs of life and movement. And of course, they enjoyed all the little inspirational signs.
One sweet little local girl even got a fitting memorial home.

Note: So you won’t think this is a simple story of good guys and bad guys, we’re addingthis note from one YouTube viewer:
I love this documentary, but it does leave out some key information. After reading an article about this film and listening to two interviews with Robyn, the Park Director isn't the bad guy you think he is. After the park removed one of the houses, Robyn went to the Park Director and told him it was her doing all this. They came up with the agreement that she could keep Firefly Forest going as long as she lived there and maintained it. The Park Director also agreed to keep her identity a secret. Robyn never wanted anyone to know it was her, because she felt it would take away the magic. Keep in mind this documentary was made after Robyn moved to Utah and she wasn't even sure she wanted her identity revealed in the film, but finally agreed. If you do some research, you will find this story is far from over.
