Well, marijuana is legal now in almost every major country in the world. Starting from Canada to the USA to Germany and Australia, every nation is legalizing the use of cannabis for recreational as well as medicinal purposes. So people can roam around the street but the rules and regulations regarding the usage have also been levied in such nations. Well, people can easily buy marijuana online in such places but the minimum age and education & awareness regarding the use of marijuana use are also being provided to the public. After getting high “munchies” is known phenomena, but what more fun is to watch something trippier that gets you higher. So here are our picks for the best movies that can get you higher even after the use of a little Canada Marijuana.

Team America: World Police (2004)

In this Matt Stone and Trey Parker movie, an American anti-terrorism unit tries to protect the world from Kim Jong Il's terrorism plot and the entire movie is played out with puppets, super marionettes to be exact. What makes this satirical action comedy amazing while high is a combination of the wacky humor, the biting satire, and the act of watching puppets use rocket launchers, have sex, and just generally move around awkwardly. It's a hilarious movie made even more hilarious by certain substances and by watching the situation these marionettes get into.

Dazed and Confused (1993)

This coming-of-age comedy starring now big-name actors revolves around a group of high school students on the last day of school. Like Pineapple Express, what makes this movie better high, is simply that you can be high with the characters as they smoke with hilarious and often touching results. Even just seeing these famous actors during their younger days may be enough to trip you out. While not necessarily made for stoners, Dazed and Confused is a high school movie about smoking weed and really who doesn't remember those days.

The Big Lebowski (1998)

This Coen Brothers classic about a stoner who gets caught up in a criminal underworld after asking for compensation for his peed on the rug is also a classic in stoner culture. The dude is such a classic stoner character. So, of course, being high using flyte pen will make you love and appreciate him that much more. The funny scenes also become even more hilarious and the drugged-out sequence adds just the right amount of trippy alongside the hilarity to make this crime comedy a great time.

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

What better movie to watch high than Stanley Kubrick's sci-fi masterpiece. When humanity finds an artificial object in space, they set out on a quest to see what it is. As Kubrick is a master of visual storytelling, this film is a real treat to watch when stoned simply due to its vibrant and surreal visuals. The space setting definitely helps add to the surreal aspect and the questions 2001 leaves you with will have you pondering what it all means for a long time even after the high wears off.

Inception (2010)

This Christopher Nolan’s movie is mind-boggling even if you haven’t used the stuff from barrie dispensary. The movie stars big Hollywood stars including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ellen Page, and Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy. The film tells the story of Cobb, the character of Caprio, who can steal the thought or any idea from a man by entering into his dream by some technology. He is assigned to incept an idea in a man’s mind about something and then he hires the crew. The VFX showing the inside of the dream can really be trippy when you are. The last action scenes in the ice and falling off the bridge would seem more fun when you are high and feel energetic like you are on dbol.

So these are some of our best picks of the movies that you should watch when you are high. But we have some other honorable mentions that would also be adding more fun and trippiness when you are on the dose of cannabis.

Other Honorable Mentions:

  • Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
  • Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie (2012)
  • Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971)
  • Pink Floyd – The Wall (1982)
  • Fantasia (1940)
