While most consider the world of Quantum Physics to be confusing, backward, and even rebellious when it comes to mainstream mathematics, it remains to be an inviting albeit exclusive club that more and more of us mystics, wonderers, wanderers, and deep-thinkers bravely choose to traverse.
To me, Quantum Physics has always and continues to act as the bridge between two favorite worlds of mine…those of Science and Spirituality. And while I was terrified taking the first step, once I did I knew there was no going back.
Quantum Physics lights up the field of creation in ways we cannot even begin to imagine. The more we learn about the likes of entanglement and bilocation, the clearer it becomes that we each have more power over our lives than we ever knew to be possible. The power alone in the act of human observation (and ultimately our perception of said observation) is literally life allowing us to dance with the Universe.
This is not some space-case, woo-woo talk, but rather a critical component in ensuring that we as human beings know who we really are, what we are capable of and what the f*ck we are even doing here in the first place.
I know many religious people who scoff at the world of science and vice versa. Yet for me, I’ve always seen them both as two different sides of the same coin. Each having the final piece of the puzzle that the other has sought after for so long. Rather than competing with or against one another, my understanding has always been that each falls short without the other. Call it the natural order or balance of things, Yin to Yang, black to white, but nothing in the human language can quite grasp the importance of the role that Quantum Physics plays in being an equal and integral part of both the scientific and spiritual worlds.
It matters not if you believe in God to be spiritual. If you are more science-based there is still no denying the incredible cosmic wonders afforded to us by the Universe and all of the force of creation it shows up as within Nature. There is an order in everything from the growth pattern of a sunflower to the spiral of a tropical storm. And within this order, no matter how focused you are on the facts, graphs, equations and research papers that act as the foundation of the scientific theory, there is again no denying the soul-touching beauty of all this math!
So, what does this all have to do with preconceived notions and especially with giving birth to our potential? Well, I’m glad you asked…
Preconceived notions can be likened to computer software where our subconscious minds are the hard drive and everyone and everything else, all the stuff “out there” has installed this software…presumably with little to no notice on our part. I believe the human soul or “consciousness” is energy personified and thus cannot be destroyed. Therefore, we continue to “upload” into new hard drives with each incarnation.
I also believe that these incarnations build on one another, call it an upgrade if you will, with each one stacking upon the last…knowledge, trauma, memories of the cells and of the soul, and lessons learned, loved and lost. With each upgrade, we all have the option to read the fine print and decide if we would like the “standard” install or the “custom” version. Customized installations allow us a view of the bigger picture of what is going onto our “machines” and thus warrant responsibility on our part to ensure we unchecked the box that asked if we also wanted to make Bing our default browser or not.
All nerdy puns aside, this is perhaps the most accurate way I can personally think of comparing the birth and rebirth of the human soul. And once we look from a different perspective, we might realize just how many of our preconceived notions of the world are not even our own. We did not experience anything directly to force a side one way or the other but rather had a repetitive installation of outdated software from our parents, teachers, clergy, news, and ultimately the entire world around us.
Some of us don’t realize this until much later in life and some never realize it at all…and it’s all OK regardless. Meeting this realization was a life-changing moment for me as it made me understand (rather innately reconnect with) that parts of me were not “me” at all, but rather ideas, opinions, and expectations of others.
In the world of Quantum Physics, ALL is potential awaiting a conscious choice to bring it forth. All energy travels in waves, and those waves do not cease until there is either a connection to or overlay of another wave. Depending on the vibration of each wave, what results is either interference or resonance. It is not until a wave is collapsed that it becomes a particle which thus appears as matter in our physical world. The same goes for any and all decisions we face in our lives. Read that again…
When we realize that ALL potential resides within our world and merely awaits a decision to be observed and chosen, we give ourselves back the power to reconnect with what shows up in your life. When we reclaim our stake as a vital piece of the cosmic puzzle, we also reclaim our birthright as a conscious creator being.
And no matter if you consider yourself religious, scientific or a little of both such as myself, creativity is something we can all appreciate in one another. For when we create, we design from the heart and leave our mark. The world around us and all potential for greatness within it, collapse through our willingness to give birth to our own lives.
