Horoscopes Thursday 24th August 2017
Aries 21 March – 20 April
Action and an open mind may be the two wings that enable you to soar ever higher. If changing your way of doing things could help you, then key influences suggest being adventurous and trying out other methods and routines. In addition, as structured Saturn prepares to turn direct, you could find your attention drawn to a course of study that might be useful in this regard Aries.
Taurus 21 April – 21 May
What you feel you should say and what you want to say could be two different things. You may be wondering how you can put something across tactfully, to smooth over a situation that needs careful handling. But when it comes down to it, you may find that a deeper urge causes you to be more direct and this may not be such a bad thing if it helps to resolve this once and for all.
Gemini 22 May – 21 June
A refreshing influence could be the reason you feel moved to connect with someone who may have very different ideas and values to yours. You might not understand their perspective, but then you may not need to. If you find there is a natural attraction between you, it may be that you have something to learn from each other and that doing so could be satisfying to you both.
Cancer 22 June – 23 July
As lovely Venus in your sign angles towards the restless energies of Uranus in your sector of ambition, you could feel a disconnect between what you feel you should do and the urgent demands placed on you by a deadline, boss or authority figure. The temptation may be to escape from too much pressure and to opt for a more relaxed day, but you might have to forgo this.
Leo 24 July – 23 August
If you’ve felt an urge to keep a certain matter private, then today’s star map might change this. A leading influence can encourage you to share an issue with someone who may be able to give you fresh insights. You could feel uncomfortable about this, as it may not be easy to discuss something so deeply personal. The resulting perspective might be well worth any awkwardness.
Virgo 24 August – 23 September
The changes that are taking place in your personal life can be a sign of progress and something you may have been waiting for. As sobering Saturn prepares to forge ahead, you could well notice a shift taking place over coming weeks that might lead to a more productive phase. Your horoscope also suggests that it may be because a family issue looks hopeful Virgo, that you feel more energized.
Libra 24 September – 23 October
This can be a day of new experiences as Venus your guide planet, makes an edgy link to the innovative energies of Uranus. You may be attracted by someone who has a fresh perspective on life and who might appeal to you for other reasons too. If you have responsibilities to attend to, then their presence might act like a breath of fresh air boosting your spirits in a good way.
Scorpio 24 October – 22 November
Something that has been stuck at the planning stage could begin to show signs of progress over coming weeks, and this may be because you begin to realize its true value. If you felt ambivalent and lacking in motivation at the start, the knowledge of how important it can be and the difference it might make to others could encourage you to give it your all and more Scorpio.
Sagittarius 23 November – 21 December
If you are too attached to the outcome of a relationship, then you may block your progress. However, if you are too easy-going then nothing much may be accomplished. The way to achieve optimum results can be to find the middle path. This might not be so easy if you have a genuine fondness for someone and want your connection to deepen, yet you may have to try Archer.
Capricorn 22 December – 20 January
If there is difficulty in seeing eye-to-eye with your partner or someone close, it may be because your views on a key issue are completely at odds with each other. If you’re to reach an agreement then it could be quite a feat. But if you can put yourself in their shoes it might make a difference. You may still be inclined to your way of thinking, but it might ease any tensions.
Aquarius 21 January – 19 February
You may have a desire to break free from any routines, particularly those related to work or a task that is too repetitive. And you might get your wish as distractions could show up that place you in a fresh environment or in the form of a visitor or unexpected encounter. Because of this, you could learn something to your advantage or uncover an opportunity that really appeals to you.
Pisces 20 February – 20 March
If you have your eye on a special item, then you might do little to resist temptation. With desirable Venus angling towards the restless energies of Uranus in your sector of everyday desires, it is very possible that you’ll snap something up. But it’s also likely that it might amuse you for a short while and quickly lose its charm. It may be just as well to hold back and think a little longer.
