There is plenty of research on people’s health and the most recent ones show that there are lots of hidden hazardous items in our homes that we can hardly notice.

Although all of you may think that your home is the safest place ever, you are completely wrong.  You are probably aware of the most common things that are a high risk for us, but there are others that are not so obvious. What’s really awful is that they can cause us really bad health conditions and be a threat for our well being.

If you are one of those people who prioritizes your health, you will be more than happy to find out the hidden health hazards and inform yourselves more about the best Medicare Supplement plans that will get you covered if something bad for your health occurs.

●     Non-stick cooking pans

You will probably never consider your pans to be a risk for your health, but if you use them on really high temperatures they release toxic chemicals which are cancerogen.

●     Pesticides

Although you may love pesticides since they help you get rid of insects, they can be pretty bad for your health. If you are exposed to them for a longer period of time, they may cause you nausea, dizziness, headaches, muscle twitching and even cancer. They are also bad for your nervous system. If you have a weak heart or troubles with your lungs try to stay away from pesticide because they can be fatal for you.

●     Dust

Is there someone who loves dusting? I don’t think so! It’s such a boring task that bothers everyone and I don’t believe that someone collects all the dust from all surfaces when they are cleaning. You are surely ignoring the dust on the top shelves, above the fridge and cabinets, under the bed and many other places that are not visible that much. Am I right? The next time you are cleaning make sure you collect all the dust because it’s such a hazard for your health. All the cleaning products and chemicals that are sprayed in the air on a daily basis are accumulated in the dust and are bad for you and especially for children. If you are not into dusting make sure you use environmentally safe cleaning products.

●     Your bed

Yes, the bed can cause you serious health problems due to the fact that lots of allergens and fungi find their home right there.

●     Aromatic decorations

I bet that you all love them so much since they make your home smell lovely all the time. But they can have a bad effect on your well being and health since they release toxic particles. They may be a reason for cancer, asthma, migraines, contact dermatitis and many more.

Don’t ignore these hidden hazards anymore now that you have read and informed yourselves about them. Try to create the best environment for you and your well being and take every precaution that you can.
