We all have things that we desire and we all have wishes that we want to be fulfilled. These desires may change from time to time, but according to numerology, we all have one main desire in our hearts.
This heart desire is believed to govern part of our purpose in this life and can help direct us to our true intentions and motivations.
Our heart’s desire has a strong influence on everything we do and can also give us clues as to the shape and theme of our lives.
Using ancient Numerology practices, you can calculate your heart’s desire number using the letters of your birth name. Here is how to do it:
Calculating your Heart’s Desire Number:
To calculate your heart’s desire number take all of the vowels from your full birth name (middle name included).
Here is an example:
Jane Lauren Smith
A E A U E I
Note: The letter Y can also be used as a vowel when it sounds like a vowel (Eg. Bryan) or when Y is the only vowel in the syllable (Eg. Betty).
Once you have extracted the vowels, add up the corresponding numbers-
A= 1
E= 5
I= 9
O= 6
U= 3
Y=7
Here is an example using the same name from above-
1+5+1+3+5+1= 16
If you get double digits, add them together until you have single-digit (the only time you won’t do this is if the answer is 11 or 22)
Using the example above-
1+6= 7
This would give you a Heart’s Desire Number of 7
Here is the meaning of each Heart Desire Number:
