Marianne Williamson tweeted about how prayer and the power of the mind could potentially shift hurricane Dorian away from land and the media and influencers went a little haywire. Her exact tweet, before she deleted it, read as follows, “The Bahamas, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas…may all be in our prayers now. Millions of us seeing Dorian turn away from land is not a wacky idea; it is creative use of the power of the mind. Two minutes of prayer, visualization, meditation for those in the way of the storm.”

Perhaps you may have heard before the Heart Sutra that says “Form is Emptiness, Emptiness is Form”. From what we typically know of emptiness it puts out a feeling of separation or missing something or being without, but in fact, true emptiness if we shift the way we’re looking at it, is perhaps the complete way to obtain fulfillment.

Without complete trust, the Universe will not deliver. It doesn’t play favorites and it doesn’t punish or reward us either. It does, however, respond to energy and how you feel about yourself, what you feel about what you’re doing and why, and what you feel you’re worthy of, all determine not only how quickly, but also how obvious the Universe is going to bring those mental manifestations to your door.

The pineal gland (also called the pineal body, epiphysis cerebri, epiphysis or the “third eye”) is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions. Its shape resembles a tiny pine cone (hence its name), and it is located near the center of the brain, between the two hemispheres, tucked in a groove where the two rounded thalamic bodies join.
