You might be able to repair your car battery if it doesn't carry a load or otherwise doesn't suit. In most cases, sulfide arises as sulfur deposits on lead plates in the battery, preventing the electrical current. A car battery at home isn't hard to repair. Sulfating allows the plate to become sticky, and the procedure is only three to five times successful. The necessary steps on how to recondition a car battery are written below.

1. Adjusting the battery
First, you have to disinfect the module terminals. There may be a lot of rust on the battery plates, and it is best to clean them before replacing the device. The size and set-up of each kind of a car battery can vary a little, so be sure to get to know the brand first.
Use the steel wool along with the water and the baking soda. Combine the water and the baking soda until a runny paste is formed and then add it to the terminals. Use the toothbrush to smooth the terminals or to clear the rust by using a ball of thread. 2. Check the Voltage

3. Drain the Battery

You're going to launch it now.
6. The final touch
Reconditioned batteries save money, but the strain within the cells can cause a lot of trouble, and it is the last thing you want to do. Take the battery charger and position it from the car battery as far as possible. Then attach the positive and negative sides accordingly. Now you're going to slow charge the battery gradually and keep it for at least 1 1/2 days. You will be able to use the battery after waiting for that amount of time.
