“Simplicity is the trademark of genius. It brings forth the noble, the pure, and the unfathomable nature of creativity that lies dormant in each and every one of us.” ~ Luminita D. Saviuc
It is not in making things bigger and more complex than we discover our Genius, but in simplifying them. By removing the clutter present in our minds, bodies, spirits, and entire lives, we are left only with the essential. And it is my hope the simplicity of these words and the meaning behind them will inspire you to let go of the Non-essential so that the Essential can reveal itself to you.
10 Reasons to Embrace Simplicity
1. When you simplify your life, you make room for your dreams.
When you find the courage to remove the non-essentials from your life – by letting go of clutter and all that no longer serves you, you make room in your life for the impending birth of your dreams. And when your dreams come to life, you come to life as well.
2. Simplicity brings you back to Life.
When your mind is preoccupied with Having and Doing – more and more each day, you are no longer Being. And when you are not Being, you are not Living.
To Be is to live. To live is to Be: at peace and present with what is. And when you are present and at peace with what is, Life flows freely and simply – through you and all around you. Therefore, you no longer need to struggle to make things happen. You allow them to happen – on their own accord.
3. The more you simplify your life, the more Peace you bring upon yourself.
Through simplicity, you reconnect with that sweet and unfathomable peace present within the center of your Being. In doing so, you make the journey from distress to harmony, from anger to compassion, and from fear to love.
4. Simplicity takes you from being a ‘slave’ to becoming a ‘Master’.
You have always been the Master of your possessions. And your possessions have always been your obedient servant. If things were ever the other way around, it was only because of a lack of Awareness.
Through simplicity, you reclaim your place as a Master. Knowing that things were never meant to Enslave you, but to Serve you, you no longer continue to be a slave.
5. Simplicity makes room for the Meaningful.
Simplicity makes room for all that is valuable, worthy, and meaningful to come your way. When the meaningless moves out of the way, the meaningful will immediately take its place.
6. Simplifying things turns life into a joyful experience.
As you embrace simplicity, your mind becomes greater and your life brighter. You no longer live to store up things, but to enjoy life. And what was once a great burden becomes now a joyful and meaningful experience.
