If you're anything like me, it absolutely drives you nuts not knowing how things will work out sometimes. When you set out to make plans or set your intentions, you tend to leave little to no room for spontaneity and find that you've become a master at creating “itineraries for life”. And yet, no matter how many times life gives you so pretty awesome reasons to let go and be okay with straying from your little itineraries, you always seem to find a way to sneak them in. And you know what? I'm kinda tired of all the stress that comes along with trying to maintain that amount of control, aren't you?
It's always a good idea plan for the future, absolutely. But life has proven to me time and time again that it strives in balance and will always return to such, as long as you don't get in the way. And when we hold on or cling to life through the various ways we try desperately to control things, then we are literally planting ourselves right in the middle of the road, refusing to move and eventually life will create a current strong enough to get us up and going again.
What this has taught me is to find the middle ground in situations, as difficult as the Capricorn perfectionist in me finds that to be sometimes, and ride each situation with balance. Go in with a game plan, but be open to change and shifts in that plan along the way. I've come to learn that it's not always how well you stick to your plan necessarily, but how well you deal with unexpected changes that come along after implementing that plan. Perhaps the most important one I've learned thus far is to just keep moving; don't stop. Because stopping is the only thing that ever guarantees failure in life. No matter how many times you fall, you always have the choice to get back up again.
And every time that you do choose to get back up, to keep going you are literally strengthening your muscle of integrity and letting yourself know you can count on YOU to be there for yourself. This only makes it easier moving forward to trust your own judgment and intuition and thus makes it simpler to make everyday choices in life. It also helps with learning to “let go” once in a while; which leads us to surrendering…
If you know anything about working with the Law of Attraction and manifestation, then you also know that a key part of actually manifesting what you want into your life is surrendering; letting go after you've put your intentions out there and trusting that the Universe CAN and WILL deliver. In other words, leaving the HOW up to the Universe because you know that is it's specialty and that you couldn't in a million years ever come up with half of the amazing, incredibly creative ways it delivers your intentions.
I can't tell you how many times I've sworn the LOA was a crock simply because I had put my intentions out there, only to literally take them right back, by energetically putting out a second intention I wasn't consciously aware of to worry about the when, and how and if of what I truly only saw as a “wish”. It wasn't until I really started studying energy and Quantum Physics that I fully grasped the power of the LOA, and understood that if my own thoughts and beliefs doubted the very thing I was intending, then I was literally canceling it all out.
It's like saying that because you can't in this moment even begin to comprehend how this particular thing you've asked for will manifest for you, that you don't really even believe it will. And that power of your belief alone tells the Universe a big, “Never-mind”. So to get out of your way and ultimately the Universe's way when it comes to what we might call self-improvement, therapy, life repair, shadow work, etc. we simply need to first be at peace with what is. Simply just stop and be in this moment with yourself as you are and just be okay with that. That is the ultimate launch pad for manifestation; pure, unconditional (Self) love. And then, just trust…and let it go! 🙂

I think the secret is to stay calm no matter the situation. As getting upset will only change your emotion situation which in turn can change your universal journey
