Too much time spent on devices and looking at a computer screen rots my brain. I feel nauseous, disorientated, joyless and tired. I need to use computers because I do most of my work online but I’ve drastically curbed the time spent doing this. I get on and get off as quickly as I can. if you’re feeling the way I do (drained to the core), go spend time in nature. Nature is the best medicine for a world-weary heart. #nature

It’s always a good idea plan for the future, absolutely. But life has proven to me time and time again that it strives in balance and will always return to such, as long as you don’t get in the way. And when we hold on or cling to life through the various ways we try desperately to control things, then we are literally planting ourselves right in the middle of the road, refusing to move and eventually life will create a current strong enough to get us up and going again.

It is so vital to learning about the Ego and its tricks and how to actually use it to benefit you. If left to its own devices the Ego will convince you that all you know is all you need to know and you must hang on with a Kung Fu grip or else! It does not want you growing, expanding, nor especially changing in a positive way because that means it is threatened. But if we can learn to shift the dynamic with our Egos and learn to work the paradox of having to let go of things to keep them stable and balanced in our life, then the Ego can do amazing things for us.
