Astrology Overview for September 07-13, 2020
This week sees some lighter and brighter vibes, as the Sun forges one of its most enabling angles and relationships, to the planet of plenty, Jupiter. Now it just so happens that Jupiter has been in retrograde for just under four months and that too ends on Sunday. Think back to mid-May and consider all those strands which have slowed down or faltered.
So the Sun linking to Jupiter this week (through to Saturday by 3 degrees) is a presage of better things to come, hopefully! Jupiter also governs international affairs, exports, travel air and sea, and in general can have a more energising dimension in Capricorn where it is not at its best, from now until when it makes its long lauded switch to Aquarius on December 20th.
Of course Mars has been in a really punishing right angle to Saturn, and that continues until early October, also by 3 degrees, and the frustration and anger that we have seen surface is unlikely to abate easily. Mars has been slowing down, moving much much slower than usual before he goes Retrograde on Wednesday through to mid November. So despite the up of Jupiter, this will be tempered by Mars and Saturn, for sure.
Fortunately though Mercury and Venus are in a lovely playful link to one another through to Friday, and this asks us to embrace our inner child, or to embrace the one we love, with brighter and more humorous interaction (local Covid restrictions allowing). Dressing up, flirting and even a bit of flaunting may call out to some lucky folk.
Thursday's Gemini Quarter Moon does though ask us to prioritise this week, for if we don't and scatter ourselves too thinly, it can be a case of diminishing returns. Both the Sun and the Moon are Mutable or changeable here so keeping that focus is essential to ward off stress.
Finally the weekend sees an even more powerful link between the Sun and Pluto, and this can be about both inner and outer transformation. What is it that we can mindfully change? Then again if we are less conscious of what we really need, Pluto has a habit of making it happen whether we like it or not.
