Astrology Overview for February 01-07, 2021
Welcome to a new week and new new month, one which begins with gorgeous Venus gliding into the sign of Aquarius. This reminds us to value the things we have in common with one another rather than focusing on the things that are different.
Friendships, group associations and collective connections are all emphasised by this. Yet Venus does soon pull alongside the slower moving and more restrictive energies of Saturn. If a relationship has been wobbling, a lack of mutual interests or different hopes for the future can be an issue.
This is also a week when the Sun in Aquarius is squaring with the forceful vibe of Mars in Taurus. Short cuts and impatient action can cause issues, but equally this aspect can give us the spark to achieve something meaningful. Balancing our principles with how we earn or spend money is key too. A divergence in relationships where people have different values can become more marked.
Although Mercury continues to rewind, it does forge a fine if subtle link to the powerbroker Pluto. Business conversations can take place discreetly and previous plans be rehashed.
The Quarter Moon of Thursday in Scorpio is though complex, opposing Mars and squaring the Sun. With all in Fixed signs, staying flexible can help, but tensions around money or possessions can emerge. A clingy friend can seem oppressive, and group politics can be a drain, but we can use this to set our intensions to avoid jealousy and controlling attitudes.
