Astrology Overview for December 21-27, 2020
This week is a seminal moment in time for us all. Monday sees the Winter Solstice, the beginning of the last Quadrant of the year, and the arrival of the Sun, and this year of Mercury in Capricorn. This combination can be a lightening rod for greater awareness to life's realities.
Yes ironically Monday coincides with the Great Conjunction between Saturn and Jupiter in Aquarius, the first in this sign since 1405. We all also have an Elemental Mutation as for many years this combination have lined up away from the element of air. This promotes the potential for a real evolution in person kinds thinking, and communicating collectively.
Saturn is the Co Regent of Aquarius but is less rigid than in Capricorn which it governs along, so there is a chance for change, but without necessarily losing some of the more stabilising influence of Capricorn. Still, Saturn can be limiting and so it is that our ability to interact and socialise is being affected right away. However, Jupiter brings hope, expansion, knowledge and awareness. We need to take the best of both planets to transform our approach.
But this week also sees a Quarter Moon in Aries and Mars in Aries clashing with Pluto, and this is driving the latest infection rates from Covid 19. This potentially savage right angle persists to the year's end within 3 degrees and is a stark reminder of the challenges we collectively face.
Christmas Day sees the Moon in Quincunx with Venus, another factor in the limitation to freely associate with those we want, but equally that we need to all count the blessings we have. But a special mention for any person reading this who lives alone, but whom would prefer not to be. You will be particularly in Alyssa and I's thoughts.
