Astrology Overview for December 14-20, 2020
The week begins with a stunning Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius, one which combines with the lightening quick energy of Mercury, and the desire and passion of Mars. Mars is still in its shadow period until the 5th of January, but this combination is very much to do with expansion, drive and flexibility.
With Venus moving into Sagittarius on Tuesday, we are asked to be as open minded as possible when it comes to our connections to others. Seeking the truth in our relationships can come more to the fore, and also connections with people overseas can be strengthened. Ordinarily travel plans and vacations can be blessed by this transit. Because of Covid this is unlikely to be the case this time around, but it can help us to have a more out going view of our relationships. If you are single, someone very different can capture your imagination before the year ends.
However, with Mars and Pluto still in mortal combat, the clashes between those who wish to be free spirits and the demands of the state, or country in which we reside creates a potentially strained dynamic. This aspect can still drive the spread of the infection sadly, and goes on broadly to the year's end.
But equally the ingress of both Saturn and Jupiter to Aquarius does bring the potential for a new dawn, and they move on Thursday and Saturday respectively. Finding a way to balance the needs of the many, whilst still acknowledging the freedoms of the individual will be one of the central themes in the times ahead. And it's also a chance to celebrate our collective connection, rather than just a focus on more material aims and ambitions.
