Astrology Overview for Dec 28-Jan 03, 2020
As the curtain comes down on the old year and new year dawns, it is one very intense week. But brightly the Sun sparkles in a magnificent angle to Uranus, both in practical Earth signs, and asks us to be as open minded about our resources as possible, or our approach in general. Just because something is different, doesn't mean it can't have some kind of worthy impact or help people in a tangible way.
But Neptune does cause mischief this week, forging a T Square with the lovely Venus in Sagittarius, and the North Node in Gemini. Someone may seem to be very enchanting and perhaps are, however we'd be best to hold back on making a final judgement, instead getting to know them more slowly. Then again in an on-going tie, if a person is illusive or worst evasive, some kind of deception is possible. In terms of communications in general, we can all feel that there is a lack of certainty, hardly surprising after the year we have had.
Mars also continues in Shadow and in square (broadly with Pluto) a potentially very destructive influence. Maintaining our self discipline is key, especially around adhering to instructions which we may find odd, wrong or unfair, but even if clumsily managed or imposed may be for the benefit or at least protection of all.
The Cancer Full Moon of Wednesday is influenced by Uranus. Once more we are asked to flex, adjust and adapt to the changing circumstances that affect us. Ensuring we retain a sense of emotionality amongst our more worldly thinking will be helpful here.
Finally Jupiter by the week's end starts to square with Uranus. Uranus will also be in conflict with it's co-regent of Aquarius Saturn, broadly, for the first 7 months of 2021, and this will see a clash between our desire to maintain the old ways, the traditional reality, with grappling with the reality of how life really is changing, sometimes in ways which is forced upon us. The environment will take the brunt of this I feel.
