Astrology Overview for August 03-09, 2020
As the week begins there is Full Moon in Aquarius. This asks us to balance our time around our personal aspirations on those activities which involve others. With Uranus the rebel planet in conflict with both the Sun and the Moon, we may find ourselves more impulsive either about creating space from certain strands or people, or feel the urge to do something more spontaneous.
Wednesday also sees Mercury, the planet of communication, waving goodbye to Cancer, the sign it has occupied for the previous 10 weeks. For many of us have this has likely seen a period of inertia, and encouraging difficult to really gain traction with our plans. These can be fired up now, but Mercury also clashes with Uranus as the week draws to a close. Perhaps something that's been unsaid will now be articulated.
Mars is also in a right angle with Jupiter all through this week. This can us an abundance of self belief, and a sense that whatever we go for, and especially if we show supreme self-confidence will have a high chance of success. Whilst this is possible, overconfidence can bring with it some problems and the right angle between Mars and Pluto at the end of this week suggests a power battle or some kind of stand off is possible. Mars in Aries is especially impetuous, so it is important to know what the potential worldly expectations we might encounter, and balancing our personal desire against this.
Saturday also sees another big change, as Venus, which has occupied Gemini for four long months, glides into Cancer. Venus here can be really quite soothing. A chance to make our home or outdoor space more comfortable, aesthetically pleasing or add a touch of charm with a new decorative style or perhaps a garden feature. In terms of relationships this can be a time to enhance family or close bonds, especially if these have been weakened by Mercury's long passage through Cancer, and the shadow period and retrograde of that planet. A gathering of loved ones (Covid 19) allowing is possible between now and 5th September.
