Katherine and her family have been friends with mother and son, Estelle and Jay, for many years. Now that Katherine is in Chicago and their family friends are in California, she doesn't get to enjoy their company as often. Since Estelle and Jay have been going through some challenges lately, Katherine decided to fly to California to surprise her friends with some holiday cheer.
