One of the most fortunate planetary alignments, between Venus and Jupiter, the two planets of fortune, occurs on the 23rd of May 2024.
This is the first time in 12 years these two have come together in this way, and with Venus the ruler of Taurus back home, the potential for better news financially is possible.
Why? Well the last time these two connected in the sign of the Bull, well, we had a bear market, the highest quarterly increase the Dow Jones had seen since 1991.
And as I write this, the Dow Jones has burst through the 40,000 barrier for the first time and the FTSE 100 in the UK is up to 8,400 way above its recent levels.
Interest rates also look likely to come down, another welcome piece of news.
Yet, we can apply this aspect to our enjoyment of one another, good food and good wine, especially with the Earthy, sensual nature of Taurus, still, we need to be mindful of not overdoing the excess!
This event is also influenced by the mystically energies of Neptune, suggesting if we can be mindful of others, especially others who less fortunate, this combination can bring an uplift from helping out. This is further borne out by the Natal Event chart showing Venus and Jupiter in the 11th House of the collective, friendships and future hopes.
So, after a long period of financial disruption, chaos and turmoil, we may gain something from looking at our approach to personal values, self worth and what we consume with a fresh pair of eyes.
Yet, the irony of this event is that it also combines with the notorious Fixed Star, Alycone or the Seven Sisters. So this is definitely not a time to overindulge to the degree we lose sight of what is truly important.
