Ganesha is the elephant-head Hindu Deity that has been called upon by millions to help remove obstacles, bring in new beginnings and wisdom to those who call upon him for assistance. Whenever I am feeling stuck, I call upon Ganesha and use this chant as a vehicle to help propel me forward. As I connect with Ganesha's energy, I visualize my current obstacles being removed with Ganesha's assistance.

A Little Bit About Ganesha:
- Translation of the chant – Om Gan Ganpataye Namah! – May all of your obstacles be removed and may you receive many blessings from Shree Ganesha!
- His broken tusk symbolizes sacrifice. It has been said that his tusk was broken when he used it as a pen for writing the important Indian epic story, the Mahabharata.
- His lower right hand is always extended as a blessing.
- By his feet is a small mouse. The mouse brings the message that he is quick and small enough to travel into the smallest places.
- His large ears tell us that he is always willing and able to hear our prayers.
- In his left hand, he holds a noose or “goad” to capture his devotees and help them move forward in life.
- In his right hand, he has an ax to free you from any obstacles that may be in the way.
- He also carries a “ladoo” which represents the sweetness of the spiritual path.
