Why does it seem that the ancients all over the planet knew what we struggle to perceive in today’s world? Ancient civilizations seemed to have this innate connection with Mother Earth, the Cosmos, and even Deities, and with that connection seems to be the underlying understandings of the workings of the Universe on a physical level.
They seemed to understand the delicate balance of nature and held a massive amount of respect for and effort to maintain that balance. And also, they understood that the connection they had with all the outer-world greatly things ran deeper within and through each and every one of us as well; connecting us all in a massive web of consciousness with the creative ability to create matter on a grand scale.
The video below is by Science & Nonduality and offers a great presentation by Shantena Augusto Sabbadini, a theoretical physicist from Italy who is the scientific advisor for the Eranos Foundation, an East-West research center located in Ascona, Switzerland. He gives lectures, courses and seminars about using the I Ching, the ancient Chinese oracle, as a tool for introspection and about the relevance of Taoist thought for our post-modern predicament. Shantena discusses how traditional science considers matter to be the focal point and how quantum physics opens the doors for science to work with consciousness. He also does an excellent job explaining a double-slit experiment, what Einstein thought of quantum physics and entanglement in a way that is easy to absorb and follow.
He wraps up with a beautiful briefing of the of the Tao Te Ching, the first chapter which teaches on the surface to forget about discourse to truly experience reality. Anything truly real flows. And the second chapter which teaches that we are not subjects confronting a world “out there”; we are not split or separate. That there is no separation, only fields permeating the entire Universe, like the waves of the ocean.
I love quantum physics for how it never gave up and continued to not just think outside the box, but continually redesign the box, and even go so far to say there isn’t even a box to begin with. QP has always and will always push buttons and erase lines. It will always bend and break the rules of traditional physics because that’s what it does and what makes it the most beautifully awkward branch of science today.
Quantum Physics has stood strong in the face of adversity even when it acted as the kid picked on continually at recess that no one wanted to play with. And it eventually paid off for now with scientists proving Entanglement with a single proton, QP has officially proven Einstein wrong and definitely given him something to be “spooked” about, that’s for sure. Hi Tamara,
I really enjoyed the video and absolutely love your article – so beautifully written!!! Thank you for this brilliant post! -Ross
Why does so much darn QP find its way to my waistline and tummy ?
@Tamara
Who is that guy that can make a bouquet of flowers appear out of nowhere. And he has made a golden statue appear out of sand. Could you do a video of him.
He has such an ability, that I think many of us should be able to duplicate. I would love to know how to duplicate that stuff. The older civilizations were so much more advanced than us in some ways. Mind you they did not have radio, TV, or other frequency waves to screw up their thinking. And no GMO and no fluoride to screw up their brains. They could see “truth” more clearly than we ever will. They could spend long hours contemplating their preferred subject of choice. And they didn’t even have electricity back then.
We also see the great legal minds at work when you look at the masterpieces they produced back in the 1800’s. Much law has not changed since their “masterpieces” of that time. They were great thinkers. Another example – the American Constitution.
Has anyone ever thought that maybe this guy that can make SOLID matter appear out of his thoughts, is using the same technology they used to make the Great Pyramids. Makes sense to me. How about you?
We have lost so much with the progress we have been given.
