Lunar Eclipse – The Heavens Rock

This Partial Lunar Eclipse is going to be supercharged. It creates a polarity between the receptive sign of Cancer – the location of the Sun, and the material energies of Capricorn. Matriarchal v Patriarchal. Because Pluto is in the mix, power battles are entirely possible and secrets revealed.

We are already seeing a number of these being carried out on the world stage, with conservative, forceful politics battling to dominate more liberal and inclusive agendas. A person who typifies where this “debate” is at could be argued to be USA Soccer great Megan Rapinoe, a Cancer. Her world view is very different to her Presidents' for sure.

With the USA and the UK in a standoff with Iran, and many other very forceful strands being played out, perhaps no more so than in Syria, where barbaric tactics are being employed by Assad and the Russian Armed forces, these are an indicator of the battle to assert control, and have been increasing ever since Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008.

In our personal situations, we may need to counter those who seek to undermine us through the dark arts. To dominate. To ensure that dissent is not heard. To manipulate those who wish to push a more feeling and caring society to those who are focused more so on their own situations, standing and wealth.

This Eclipse also is an echo of the opposition between the Point of Destiny (the North Node in Cancer) and its opposition to Saturn in Capricorn which goes on all month. The North Node is the emotional clarion call of the heavens, Saturn about the status quo the past and strict conditions and conditioning.

Your take of the above will depend on how you view the world but what we can all do is look to live our lives in the last six months of 2019, keeping our emotional and physical needs and desires in as much balance as possible.

Few sparkle like you when you are on form, but facing some deeper psychological strands may be unavoidable just now, look to confront them head on.

The last six months of this year can be a pivotal time, but some big choices beckon, especially if you are to really embrace your talents.

Libra 24 September – 23 October

This Eclipse is another opportunity to fortify your boundaries, both personally and professionally. But you may feel conflicted around work/home needs.

You can often speak passionately to others, but the stars are asking you to improve your ability to see others' viewpoints and their right to them.

Whether you are grappling with what you really believe in our motivates you, or the need to firm up your finances, patience will be a virtue.
