I was recently speaking with some friends about trusting the Universe and how that is not always the easiest thing to do. We got on the topic somehow of the movie The Arrival and were asking one another if we had all seen it. My response was kind of unusual in that I had, but I had not see it in one sitting. In fact I had to watch it over three different sittings!
My one friend and fellow writer here at CLN, said right away that it was because what I was meant to learn and receive from the movie wasn’t ready to come to me yet, and so it made sense I kept getting interrupted or whatever and had to come back to continue to watch the movie again at a later date.
She was SO right and now even looking back, I realized that watching the second and even the third time, it was almost as if certain parts were different or affecting me in a new way. It is almost as if I received it during the second viewing in a completely unique way from the first and also from the third. Interesting…
This had me thinking so much this past week that I was so inspired to write about it this week. It also continues on my year of ever-lasting synchronistic events! And it has really made me stop and remember the difference between doing something to move towards your goals and dreams everyday and pushing the Universe once you’ve set intentions.
I’ve learned a valuable lesson when it comes to the Law of Attraction and manifesting. It goes beyond working with “energy”. If you really want to get into the juicy stuff you will go a bit deeper down the rabbit hole and discover that thoughts are electric energy and they put our your intentions. Your emotions are magnetic and they draw in what you are feelings. Both are vital players in the art of manifestation and one would be wise to learn to master the art of balancing them in the creative heart space. (To learn more about this, Google “Heart Manifest Meditation” or ”How to Manifest From the Heart”).
There have been times where I’ve literally held my fist to the sky cussing to high hell that I give up and cannot understand what the heck the Universe wants from me. It’s one of those times where your Ego has had enough because it’s backed into a proverbial corner of your psyche and is being forced to expand and grow outside of comforts zones that have been in place for years.
But the more and more I explain to my Ego that growing is actually a good thing and will only help us have more fun in this cosmic playground, the more I able to trust and let go when putting my intentions out there. I find that I am no longer self-sabotaging and have started to actually trust myself and the process of working with the Universe rather than always coming from a place of feeling like a victim of it.
This small shift can make all the difference in the world and I’m not just saying that. It totally sounds cliche but it comes with heaps of insight, patient and peace. Small stuff doesn’t really bug you much and if it does you kind of get over it a bit faster because you know the Universe has got your back. You can even giggle at those who still often get their panties in a bunch when they are momentarily lost in the illusion that they are not creating their own reality in…this…moment…
And if you’re really feeling it, you might even help one of them look another way. And maybe just maybe, you can say to them too, “What is meant for you always comes into view.”
