Lakshmi is the Hindu Deity that brings blessings of abundance, success and beauty into our lives on the material and spiritual realms. I chant the following mantra – Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei Namaha, for at least 5 minutes to align myself with Lakshmi's flowing and abundant energy at least one a week. The chant, Om Shreem Mahalakshmiyei Namaha is a blessing mantra for abundance and prosperity in the physical and spiritual worlds.
Symbols Related To Lakshmi
- Lakshmi – Her name is derived from the Sanskrit work “Laksa” which means goal or aim.
- Gold Coins – The gold coins that flow from her hands are a symbol of the wealth that comes to those who worship her.
- Lotus in Full Bloom – She is often either sitting or standing within a lotus in full bloom. In her hand is a lotus bud. The lotus represents purity, beauty and fertility.
- Two Elephants – The elephants that are next to her are spraying water. The flowing water represents an effortless flow of blessings.
- Four Hands – Lakshmi has four hands. The each have a represent the four ends of our physical existence. Kama (desires), Aretha (abundance), Dharma (righteousness, morals and good ethical practices), and Moksha (freedom from the cycle of life and death).
I recommend listening to this mantra by Deva Premal, any time you feel stagnant and aren't feeling the flow of abundance, success or physically in sync with your body. On a side note, abundance and success may also be applied to career, health and our personal relationships.
Blessings and Light,

We always have abundance. Abundance of plenty or abundance of lack in the extremes.
Its always causes and effects, the more one give, so one receives. Remembering the karmic law, that’s how the divine energy works!!!
