Astrology Overview for December 10-16, 2018
Monday to Wednesday sees the continuing tie-up between Mars and Neptune. Although the distance between them is is now widening, we could still experience a degree of sluggishness, or a desire to hide ourselves away from reality, and embrace more imaginative pursuits. Of course this is a very busy time of the year, one which does demand juggling quite a few different plates, and fortunately the Sun's tie with Pluto, a semi sextile, can give us a little bit more physical vitality in order to cope.
But Venus also plays a major role this week. Most delightfully for the time of year a nice link with Jupiter is perfect for any social interactions, or we could find ourselves at what seems to be just a straightforward gathering having a fascinating discussion or connection with someone we encounter. But Venus also forges a very stabilising link to the planet of structure, Saturn. Now, when these two get together we are not talking about a RomCom storyline, but more the potential to work patiently towards some shared targets or goals in any close relationship or bond.
Mercury also returns the Sagittarius this week on Thursday, which it vacated at the end of November. The retrograde for Mercury began in Sagittarius on the 17th November at 13°, and it won't unwind back to that position until 24th of December. But generally, with Mars and Neptune's draining link closing, this alteration can provide a lift of energy, and especially by the end of the week when Mercury starts to head towards a conjunction with Jupiter.
Mind, the week does have one last potential sting in its tail with a Quarter Moon on Saturday in the sign of Pisces. Once more fact can be stranger than fiction on the back of this particular right angle, and if we do find ourselves becoming overly sensitive, all we can do is try to be as logical as possible and not let our imaginations run away and build up some kind of drama within our thinking.
