Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 1st October 2018. The week begins powerfully with the Sun angling to Mars, across the signs of Libra and Aquarius. Any plans involving friendships or groups can really take a giant step forwards, on Monday and Tuesday.
But the week then does take on a more complex dimension, with a Quarter Moon on Tuesday in Cancer, suggesting even diplomacy can be affected by people's moods and subjectivity, and Mercury's Square to Pluto, suggesting we may encounter a forceful individual who has something of a might is right attitude to life. Of course it is going to be important to be conscious of our own way of discussing things.
The Sun adds to the potential for an erosion of clarity in its angle to Neptune on Thursday through to the end of the week. Whatever our best intentions, either our own subconscious or those of someone we encounter, can play into any discussions we have.
The big news story of the week is perhaps that Venus goes into a retrograde on Friday which will last through to the middle of November, initially through to the end of October in Scorpio and then in Libra. All sorts of relationship issues are certain to be influenced by this, but despite this Venus does forge a broadly positive angle to the Sun this week, and if there is a relationship or business partnership that you're developing that is driven by the right motives it can stand a chance of success, or moving forward positively.
