Astrology Overview for July 23-29, 2018
This week sees the Sun return home to Leo, the zodiac sign that it rules. This is a wonderful development giving us all the opportunity to express our individuality, creativity, and positivity. However it is true to say that the Sun is going to be in opposition with Mars through till Saturday, and this can create a degree of turbulence. If we imagine the Sun is all about self-expression, Mars is very much about instant gratification. So if we push forwards too quickly or too impatiently it could create situations where people resist our plans, fr we experience those people who push back upon us. There can also be a dynamic between juggling what we want to do for ourselves and what other people's expectations are. In general, patience will need to be warded off and particularly on the back of the lunation which occurs on Friday which sees the Full Moon conjunct at 4° in Aquarius.
Sun is also in a challenging angle with Saturn. But this provides some different astrological scenarios. Saturn, right at the top of the horoscope in the 10th Solar House is very much about rules and regulations conforming to more formal and traditional situations and expectations. Again the Sun in Leo is asking us to be much more ourselves and free-spirited. So finding some balance this week is definitely going to be a key factor.
With Venus continuing its opposition to Neptune on from last week through to Friday, they can be some magical conversations for some people, and if you meet someone for the first time they may really woo you. But this is one of those aspects which can distort, and disappoint in equal measure, so the key is to have realistic expectations.
More positively Saturn continues its superb angle with Uranus, great for slow but steady change. Jupiter forges a fine link to Venus and also Neptune. So they can be some sparkling possibilities this week, but with Mercury going retrograde in Aquarius on Thursday through to 18 August, equally we do need to factor into our planning that there could be delays changes of plan and frustrations. Can't completely control the impact of Mercury retrograde what we can do is control what we can influence ourselves personally.
