Astrology Overview for July 16-22, 2018
Hullo, I’m Astrologer Patrick Arundell, and here is your Astrology Overview for WC 16th July 2018. This week sees Jupiter very much at the heart of things the planet of plenty is forging a beautiful angle with both Venus and also Neptune. This combination is wonderful for thinking of ways in which we can invest in the people and situations that we truly feel passionate about. This could come from a thoughtful deed, doing some kind of favour, taking the pressure off a friend or family member or if you are interested in the arts or creative strands, combining an earthy eye for detail with an opportunity to expand consciousness.
What is also true however, is that on Thursday there is a Quarter Moon in the sign of Libra. Libra is of course a Cardinal sign – along with the Sun's current location in Cancer, in other words a leadership sign. This activates the 4th/7th solar axis, and it's possible that someone around us may seem to be a little bit subjective in their communications, moody, distant or withdrawn. Then again it could be ourselves who struggle to find an element of logic when it comes to how we respond to someone close.
The potential for a little bit of confusion around relationships is also reinforced by Venus's opposition with Neptune as the week comes to a close. The concept of putting someone on a pedestal is very much part of this particular aspect, when we see someone as being a shining light when inevitably there will be other elements of their nature which are less glorious. But it's also one of those aspects along with Venus is brilliant angle to Jupiter earlier in the week, which can trigger some magic in relationships. So, if you're single it is a time to look out for people's body language and signals that they may be sending out, stay mindful if you're interested in meeting someone how you can activate some connections. Certainly through music, film or theatre would be a great way to mix and mingle – even if it is in the half-time interval! Any interest which taking more spiritual strands can also be blessed by this set of aspects this week. So joining with a circle, a group, or activity which connects you to other like-minded souls can also be uplifting.
