Astrology Overview for April 23-29, 2018
April has certainly been a potent and powerful month And that there is no let up this week when Pluto slams on the brakes and goes into a five and a half month retrograde, but is joined by Mars in conjunction for the whole week. This combination really is Power Central and especially in the sign of Capricorn, as they are. If there is a target or goal we want to achieve this combination can give us incredible determination, drive, and the will to win. The downside is the impetuous energies of Mars, linked to the more ruthless dimension of Pluto, could see us pursue targets by taking shortcuts,or overriding the rights and feelings of others in pursuit of success, status, and raw power.
In the same sector Saturn also continues its journey, which will last until mid-December 2020, and repeats a square with Mercury which last took place in week two of April. If you think back to then you may have experienced an incredible amount of frustration, or limitation or a sense of inertia. Despite this the Sun on Thursday through to the end of the week actually forges a brilliant link with Saturn, and if there is something that we have been working on that is tangible and solid, the location of both in the Earth signs of Taurus and Capricorn respectively, can see us come up with solid results but especially where it is progressive improvement, rather than trying to take giant steps. Mid-week also sees Venus move into the lighter and more sociable sign of Gemini. This could be perfect to add some levitation, to what otherwise can be quite possibly a week when we feel on the end of other people's dictates, or we encounter those who want to block our will.
