Astrology Overview for April 02-08, 2018
As this week begins,Mars conjuncts Saturn, in Capricorn. Though Mars is exalted in Capricorn and Saturn is the ruler of this sign, this combination will need some care. If we find yourself in a situation where we really have to focus very very hard on a narrow and precise task, assignment or role we can do so with tremendous application and determination and significant results may be possible. But with Capricorn being the sign of responsibility, and both of these planets being squared by the restless energies of the reversing Mercury in Aries, frustration is possible if things don't go exactly to plan. Both these influences are also Cardinal, so they can be about authority, power, and also leadership, so there can be an innate conflict between the retrograde Mercury in Aries, and its desire to initiate, and the more conservative energies of Mars in conjunction with Saturn.
More positively from Monday through to Thursday the Sun is forging a gorgeous Trine, to the North node or the point of destiny, in Leo. This is a very creative aspect, and is encouraging us to demonstrate our talents, artistry can flair where possible.
There is no doubting the Mars combining with Saturn, can lead to breakthroughs professionally, but we will have to work very hard to achieve them. But a reward does come at the end of the week in the guise of Venus, which forges a lovely angle to both Mars and Saturn, and the things that are shaping up well in our worlds can become more tangible, and longer lasting.
