Taking Off the Mask
I’m in my mature years, I remember as a young person feeling as if I was wearing masks. The masks I know now were my conformist constructs. I was becoming what and who I thought I was supposed to be, shaped by my environment. It was many, many years later that I broke through and took off the masks and discovered who I truly was and reinvented my life. It has been a difficult and very joyous process. We are one and this so called life is a stage. Make the most of it my friends. Step away from the mind games and be whole as One. A singular cell in the network of the whole. The whole is where bliss is found. We are powerful, creative beings. The drama is an illusion. See the profound analogy below by Alan Watts.
When is Life Difficult?
Life is difficult because we believe what we see and accept reality as tangent (something we can only experience with our physical senses). When we know reality is not tangent then we can rise above the drama and develop super powers that shape and control the experiences in our physical world. We are all as baby birds, our eyes are shut until we mature, effortlessly it seems, yet how do we know? Have we lived their experiences? We judge others based on what we know or have experienced. Until our knowledge is expanded it is limited, unless we are born awake.
Life is Hard, Some Say
Does this hold true or does it have to do so?
Not when we wake to the understanding that we are part of the whole and a powerful creator. Tough times don’t have to remain tough. Change is constant, our thoughts can make beauty from the tough stuff, if we only desire it to be so. If we feel it and act as tough it is truth, which it is. Our feelings are powerful agents of change, and we have the ability to control our feelings. Believe this, live it, love your life my friend. Listen to Alan Watts and be inspired as I was.[embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6TBNHoZRDB0[/embedyt]
