Well, it’s time to give a definite answer to these speculations. Do lash growth products really work? Let’s find out.

Lash growth serums are made up of active ingredients that come together to ensure that your eyelashes not only grow longer but grow fuller. It is important that you know that your eyelashes have a growth cycle which consist of three phases; the anagen, the catagen and the telogen phases.

The Anagen phase is the period when your eyelashes are growing actively. This falls within a 30 day to 45-day period and then your eyelashes stop growing. During the period your eyelashes grow, it is only 40 percent of your upper eyelashes and 15 percent of your lower eyelashes that grow at the same time.

The Catagen stage is the period when your lash follicles begin to shrink.  This could also between 2 to 3 weeks.  If a lash falls off during this period, it might not be able to grow back until the cycle begins again.

The Telogen phase is also called the resting phase this could go on for about 100 days and then your eyelashes begin to fall out.  However, only few lashes fall off at the same time and it takes about 4 to 8 weeks for an eyelash to grow back.

Now you know how your eyelashes works.

The next question is: how does the eyelash serum help?

Eyelash serum are made up of ingredients that work towards improving the appearance and beauty of your eyelashes naturally. They make your eyelashes strong enough to stay put instead of falling out. Eyelash serums provides your lashes with the vitamins they need and protect them from harsh environmental factors.

They work on your follicles and trigger a more rapid eyelash growth.  If you consistently use an eyelash serum and follow the instructions strictly, you will notice changes within 4 weeks.
