How To Live To Be 100

At a time when half the population in the U.S. is struggling with chronic illness and life expectancy is on the decline, the idea of living to 100 may seem like a pipedream to most. Yet, in many other areas, life expectancy is actually rising, and centenarians are far more commonplace than you might imagine.

Silver’s Long Consolidation Looks Like a Launching Pad

The silver market’s consolidation has formed a symmetrical triangle pattern. Prices are now nearing the apex of that triangle. The pattern cannot hold much longer – it must soon break in one direction or the other. And when it does, the move that follows should be sudden and sharp in one direction or the other. A bearish breakdown could quickly pull prices back down to the $14/oz level…while a bullish breakout would target $20.50 and potentially much higher beyond that.

As World Condemns ‘Appalling’ Crimes, US Praises Israel’s “Restraint” and Blocks Call for UN Probe Into the Killing of 61 Civilians in Gaza

After making the widely condemned and erroneous assertion that responsibility for Israel’s massacre of more than 50 Palestinians “rests squarely with Hamas,” the Trump administration on Monday unilaterally blocked a United Nations statement that expressed “outrage” at Israel’s killings and demanded “an independent and transparent” investigation. During an emergency U.N. Security Council meeting, U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley took the further step of applauding Israel forces during her speech for showing admirable “restraint” as it mowed down dozens of peaceful demonstrators.

Time Travelers Are Welcome At Hawking’s Memorial Service

Professor Stephen Hawking ashes are being interred on June 15 at London’s Westminster Abbey, by the graves of fellow scientific giants Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin. The world-renowned cosmologist’s three children Robert, Lucy and Tim are offering up to 1,000 free tickets to the public through a ballot system, run by the Stephen Hawking Foundation. Applicants need to give their birth date—but eagle-eyed fans of the man who dedicated his life’s work to unravelling the mysteries of the universe spotted that it can be any day up to December 31, 2038.

If Any Other Country Was Shooting Civilians Like Israel, The US Would Be Calling For Invasion By Now

If Any Other Country Was Shooting Civilians Like Israel, The US Would Be Calling For Invasion By Now

The death toll in Gaza increased dramatically on Monday as Israeli Defense Forces opened fire on thousands of Palestinian civilians, killing 41 and injuring at least 1,700, and the United States’ response served as a reminder that if the governments in Iran, Syria, North Korea or Russia had done the same thing, the U.S. would be calling for a full-scale invasion right now. It is hypocrisy at its finest, especially considering the fact that the U.S. has a history of cheering on and aiding protests against foreign governments. In fact, when the mainstream media began sharing reports of protests in Iran in December 2017, President Trump took to Twitter to cheer on the dissidents.

Norway to Become First Country to Only Allow Electric Ships Into Their Fjords

Norway’s parliament adopted a resolution that would require all vessels, ships, and liners entering their world heritage fjords to produce zero carbon emissions. The ban is set to be enforced “as soon as technically possible,” but will go into full effect in 2026. This is a major step for Norway, which receives hundreds of thousands of tourists visiting the country’s 1,160 fjords every year. Officials believe the resolution will not only benefit the environment, but support the health of the tourists and local communities.

In Major Win Over ‘Corporate Bullying,’ Seattle Approves Tax on Amazon to Combat Homelessness

Overcoming weeks of extortionist threats and other forms of “corporate bullying” from the world’s largest retailer, Seattle’s City Council on Monday unanimously approved a new tax on Amazon—which paid nothing in federal income taxes last year—and other major companies in an effort to provide essential services for the homeless and combat the local housing crisis. Noting that the so-called “head tax” is quite modest relative to Amazon’s annual revenue and the pay of its CEO Jeff Bezos – the world’s richest man – Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant argued on Monday that “even a smaller tax is a huge victory,” given the “Goliath-like clout of Amazon.”

8 Secrets to Living Beyond 100 from the World’s Healthiest People

The Hunza lifestyle makes you question everything we hold ‘sacred’ in this country. Even at 100 years of age (the American average lifespan is only 70) a Hunza is not considered elderly. 90-year-old Hunza men often father children, and 80-year old Hunza women make Naomi Campbell look geriatric.

No “safe” level of cell phone or wireless (WiFi) radiation has yet been scientifically determined for children or pregnant women. Today we encounter a hundred thousand times the level of radiation from wireless technologies than we did decades ago. Yet the safety standards set by federal regulatory agencies are outdated.
