Life is but a choice. A decision you make a long the way determines your experiences. Some say, what you think today becomes your reality tomorrow. If this holds true, and I can see it does for me, then making a decision to positively affect your life is as good as gold in the hand.
What do you choose? To be in charge or be a victim? To see the glass half full or half empty? To look over your shoulder or enjoy the day? To rest well at night or toss and turn? Your choices impact your life.
5 Choices You Can Make Now
Choose to Let Go
Step away from your ego and establish your true essence, which is One with everything. It is here that the fight ends and creation begins. Letting go is the beginning of wisdom, along with creative, expansive living. What is one to let go of? Opinions, be willing to listen to another perspective. Pride, be wiling to be wrong or misunderstood. Judgement, be willing to not place the gavel on the desk. Instead see the person through new eyes, try to put yourself in their place. This is not weak living, it is powerful. This is being meek. Meek is power under control. Recognize your own power by not holding it over another, but my remaining calm and present. Be assured that as you live in your true essence letting go is not hard, it just takes practice.
Choose to Remain in the Now
What is a miracle? Is it the thing you desired and hoped for coming along at just the right time?
Have unwavering faith. Let fear have no entry into your mind or life.
What exactly is the right time? Now contains everything one needs to make a decision. It is not available yesterday or tomorrow. Need you think anything else? It is bothersome to contend with thoughts of yesterday that bring strife and worries of tomorrow that bring fear. Being fully present is the way to peaceful living. It is in the moment choices are clear and present.
Choose Carefully What You Watch and Listen To
Take bold action: immerse yourself in inspiration rather than information. What a beautiful place to reside! Choose carefully where you place your attention. Learn to be discerning. Often if the masses are in agreement, then you might want to take a deeper look. Make this your mantra, I choose to be inspired. Ask your higher self to guide you to ideas that inspire you. Practice stretching your imagination.
Choose to Move Rather than Stay Stagnant
Start your morning off each day and end it with this thought: Source/God is with me wherever I go.
This reiterates the message that within you is everything. You are not alone. Move your body and free your mind: begin to feel better now.
When one thinks of choosing to move, bodily movement is often thought of first. However, first is the movement in the mind, then comes the movement in the body. Free your mind, don’t be stagnant. Deep within you is the cure for sorrow, separation and loss.
Healing, health, wholeness and holy are the same word. Healing is really a spiritual experience, a holy experience. It’s the return of the memory of who we really are.
With that memory is the freedom from stagnation which keeps you stuck in the rut.
Choose Love over Judgement
Love is the cure all, for yourself and others. Achieving unconditional love takes practice and discipline. Some may be born with a natural inclination to look and see the best in everyone; to look beyond the image that is before them. But for most, choosing to look past the image and really see takes experience and a lot of self-governance. Even for those that see the good, it is easy to force your perspective upon another’s choices. When one makes the choice to love, then one is on the path of peace and contentment. This path includes a life that flows and is at ease: the beauty walk.
Choosing love means being flexible. In the storms of life, be as a mighty palm tree and bend. Storms always cease, they cannot sustain fury. Choosing love allows one to abide until the storm passes. One of the most remarkable teachings on love is in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 13. Ponder on some love traits and be inspired.
My friends, choose to be the peace you wish to see in the world. We all have a part to play. As we unite our consciousness with love and good choices, we will live truth. Truth will prevail even through the dark days of uncertainty.
