Many people around the world go to gyms in order to get a great body. However, the numbers of people, who reach their goal, are very few, compared to the previous number. There are certain reasons behind the failure of so many people to reach their goal. Inappropriate nutrition is one of the major reasons. However, the reason that comes after inappropriate nutrition is quite stunning. Most people do not get the desired results due to their lack of knowledge regarding the exercises.

Experts often consider a perfect chest to be the gateway to a great body. Therefore, here are the 4 most effective exercises in order to achieve the perfect chest –

Bench Press and Dumbbell Twists

Here’s how one should perform the above exercise in an effective way –

  • At first, lie down on an even bench and hold two dumbbells close to the chest. Now, slowly raise them towards the forward direction by extending the arms. The dumbbells get close to the face, past the ears, and finally, above the shoulders.
  • Next lower the dumbbells slowly towards the chest. There should be a gap of minimum 2 seconds when the dumbbells reach the chest. Then rotate the arms as much as possible away from the chest area.
  • It is better keeping the shoulders back on the bench in order to ensure maximum involvement of chest muscles.

Push Up with Close Grip and Weight on the Back

This is a great way to shape up the chest in the perfect way. In order to accomplish this exercise, one needs to follow the below steps –

  • At first set the hands on the ground with a gap of around 6 inches between them.
  • Next, place some weight (for example, a sand bag) on the back to increase the pressure.
  • Give pressure on the elbow to bring the body towards the ground and then, push it up.
  • This will not only enhance the chest in a better way than before, but also will increase the endurance.

Cable Crossover

This is an integral part of almost any exercise. In order to perform the exercise, one needs to set a foot forward and then, lean a bit towards the front. Then, one should get hold of the cables from the lowest position. Next, cross the cables and bring them towards the chest. Repeat the steps until the chest area starts to stain.

Lean Forward Dip

According to GymNation trainers, this is one of the most difficult exercises to perform as it demands the full usage of body weight. Here are the steps to take control of this exercise –

  • Get hold of the bar, cross the legs, and push them back so that the knees directly face the ground.
  • Next, push up the whole body until the arms straightens.
  • While lowering, try to lean forward as much as possible so that the entire body weight puts pressure on the chest area.
  • Repeat 3 sets of this exercise with 10 reps for best results.

The above exercises, if executed appropriately, can help a person get a toned, well-shaped, and muscular chest within few months as they are highly effective in building chest muscles.

Conclusion:

Therefore, people, who are beginners to gym in search of a great body, should opt for the above chest exercises, to build a strong foundation for best results.
