So with all this what is so important about wellness? I mean if we get sick we can just take a pill and everything will turn better right? With everything that has been going on in the world, it would seem like the subject of health and wellness has been brought up a lot. Your physical wellness is extremely important we know it might seem marketed everywhere and we’re always seeing ads of new health techniques and newest diet. But when we really think about it, what is the reason that it is so important? Our bodies need regular exercise. Experts say at least 30 minutes a day doing some kind of continuous activity. And with the many different activities out there it is almost impossible to not be able to do one. Even a brisk walk every day is beneficial. As we get older we get more sustainable to ailments such as cardiovascular disease, obesity, sickness. The list can go on, but doing some type of physical activity can slow those diseases and ailments.
We recommend that you get a workout buddy as having a friend with you usually makes working out more enjoyable, and you get challenge each other to different goals. Also getting a personal trainer is also very beneficial because you are able to be shown how to properly exercise. Because if you are not exercising the correct way it could actually do damage to your body.
How wellness plays a role in your sex life
Your sexual wellness is very dependent on your overall wellness. When we feel good we feel better and in turn when we feel better our sex life seems to be used more and more if you catch my drift. So a healthy sex life with your partner should feel fun and exciting not feel like a chore.
Diet
Have you ever heard the phrase you re what you eat? Well, it is very true. The type of food we put in our bodies plays a whole lot in our wellness. When eating foods it’s very important to make sure that you are eating healthy on a regular basis. Nutrition has a big part in determining if we are healthy or not. If we are constantly eating bad foods we are probably going to feel gross and nasty. Although if we are eating healthy clean foods we are going to feel a lot better. There are so many different new ways of eating clean and healthy that it is not even considered a diet anymore, more like a lifestyle. And lifestyle has a much better ring to it than a diet.
Consider looking up different food options such as vegan or gluten-free. You can also look into “diets” such as the keto diet or the pescatarian diet. Also, remember moderation is key as well. So if you are craving a cheeseburger, by all means, eat it. Just do not do that every day!
Mental wellness
Your mental wellness is very important and can save you from having a multitude of problems. Self-care is in fact extremely important and vital for your mental health. Take time to take care of yourself. Go to a spa, get a massage, go on a vacation, do not forget about your mental wellbeing.
Starting off small
