Aries 21 March – 20 April
The Sun bursts into your sign on Wednesday, and also it's the beginning of the new astral year with the Vernal Equinox. On the face of it, this will give you a massive jolt of extra energy, and it can. But it does need to be directed in the right way. Why? Well, your ruler Mars is clashing with the Sun all week, and Mercury in your sign, starts the rewind, so try not to be too impulsive.
Taurus 21 April – 21 May
If there is anything you've been trying to keep close to your chest, perhaps of a highly confidential personal nature, but nonetheless an issue that's important to you, well it's possible that it could come to the surface this week. It may not be you who is compelled to speak out, but be somebody else. Even if this proves to be difficult, in time, it may turn out to be for the best Taurus.
Gemini 22 May – 21 June
The heavens are going to ask you some searching questions about what you want from your future. Why might this be? In part, it is because your ruling planet Mercury is set to retrace his steps for the next three weeks. This could see you toying with a completely fresh approach or revamping an existing stream. Any friendship which is a bit too clingy, could though lose its appeal.
Cancer 22 June – 23 July
Your desire to get ahead and demonstrate to people just how talented and capable you are is definitely given a jolt of powerful energy. But with Mercury also in your in sector of success, but going into retrograde, some of your initial hopes or goals may need to be tempered with a rather large slice of patience. If you are too forceful, this can prove to be rather counter-productive.
Leo 24 July – 23 August
You can find yourself wanting to create a feeling of liberty from any situation, circle of friends or even a person who you feel has become too demanding of your time and resources. Of course, the conundrum here Leo, is that none of us can have total freedom, at least not without a degree of responsibility. And this can be the thing that you find yourself trying to balance this week from your Solar Horoscope influences.
Virgo 24 August – 23 September
Your ability to look at any situation in a penetrative and analytical and meaningful way, is one of your great gifts. Now you can direct your searching gaze towards your longer term financial situation. This is not the best of weeks to be too gung ho about investing money in anything speculative, or entering into joint arrangements where your role or the costs involved are not ultra clear.
Libra 24 September – 23 October
With the Sun bustling into your sector of relating, joining with Mercury and your ruler Venus, there's a fine chance to further invigorate close ties. After all, your ruler Venus has been sparkling closely with Mercury in this area, and has helped you to feel more optimistic. Mind, with the Sun clashing with both Mars and the Quarter Moon, it can be someone else's attitude that tests.
Scorpio 24 October – 22 November
You can find yourself with an intense desire to grapple with life's nitty-gritty. As long as you don't try to do too much, and can prioritise what's really important, there is a good chance that you can progress. However, something beyond your control, such as an appointment or a job application, may get snared by some tricky astral undercurrents. Look to stay resolutely positive.
Sagittarius 23 November – 21 December
Mercury and Venus have been helping you to rediscover your spark just recently, but now the Sun is going to help to reignite your physical vitality. Ironically, Mercury then slams on the brakes, so some interactions or plans may be subject to last-minute changes. This could also be a week when you're tempted to splash out. If you do, the trick will be in making it for an essential item.
Capricorn 22 December – 20 January
How does it feel having Mars now in your zodiac sign Capricorn? I hope you're experiencing a greater sense of thrust, and gaining greater traction with key plans. Some of your energies now may be directed towards your home, making improvements or thinking of moving. Communication with a family member, or someone very close, will though need care for a few weeks.
Aquarius 21 January – 19 February
The pace of life is set to accelerate. You're often in your element when there are multiple tasks to be achieved, as you can find spinning those proverbial plates stimulating. You may decide to upgrade to improve an item of technology, or have a rethink around a mode of transport. Someone could tell you something in confidence, but try not to see it as too much of a burden.
Pisces 20 February – 20 March
I hope you've enjoyed any creature comforts just recently, and with the Sun moving into your sector of resources, you can become more serious about grappling with the foundations of your situation. Making your budget work more effectively could be part of this, and you can also think about your future with the help of Mars. One friend may not completely appreciate your rationale, however.
