You Were Born for These Times

“Every adversity,
every failure,
every heartache
contains within it the seed
of an equal or greater benefit ”
― Napoleon Hill

What if the very challenges of these times are providing opportunities for you to remember your true nature, connect with your fundamental inspiration, and sense your core purpose? What if there is great potential value in the situations you are sorting through, problems you are solving, decisions you are making, and plans you can put in place that are completely different than anything you or your family has faced before?

We are truly living in dramatic times, with so many temptations to indulge in grief, anxiety, and anger. Amidst all these emotions, people can sometimes feel divided. They can feel justified that their views of truth are clearly the best, being fact and science-based; it’s therefore obvious that conflicting views must be incorrect. But is that assumption necessarily true? Or might truth not be as synonymous with certainty as we sometimes presume?

A friend of mine recently wrote, “Never has it become more apparent that you can be standing next to another person and be existing in two completely alternate realities.” Which leads me to wonder whether quantum uncertainty might be driving the Truth Wars? As far as the term “Truth Wars” goes, it’s referring to an idea that most people don’t (yet) associate with the way people are likely changing reality, based on what they’re focusing on. Just as we can experience Placebo Effects, we can also get embroiled in belief-based disagreements that play out in reality as we keep finding the proof and facts and scientific evidence we think we need to support the beliefs we already have. So these Truth Wars are quite likely very old, and they’ve likely been happening throughout human history.

I hope people can realize that no matter what’s happened, miracles can (and do!) happen in an instant, and they happen all the time. I sometimes refer to quantum jumps as “the science of miracles,” since we are now finding scientific theories and experimental evidence to support that we can expect to sometimes witness different histories than we remember as if we’ve jumped to another physical reality. We can experience healing and health regardless of what has happened, and it helps to have a solid goal in mind.

For example, one thing that got me through finding my way out of longhaul covid was experiencing the idea that longhaul covid might be a gift and blessing–that perhaps it was offering me something I’d never find any other way. I saw and felt how it aged me about 30 years instantly, with lots of details about how and where I’d get arthritis, and tremors, and loss of balance and loss of vision and hearing, etc. I then realized all these things as well as allergies and asthma could be backed off, by listening to learn what the body needs to heal.

And miraculously, my dawning realization that I needed help and healing coincided with the moment when I sent a message to FutureMe last August 2020 to me this year, in late August 2021. With 20:20 hindsight, I can now see how I wove together possible realities when I sent love and blessings to my future self, with this message in my conversation with FutureMe:

Dear FutureMe,
I’ve been sheltering in place for more than five months, and all travel plans have canceled. It’s hard for me to imagine what you’re going through now, but whatever it is, please trust that all is well, and you have a great deal of love and support! And always remember to let God do the ‘heavy lifting.’ It’s enough each day just to show up, and do what you are able to do, and care for who and what you are able to care for.

When I received this message from myself, I experienced an extraordinary sense of feeling both sides of this two-way communication of love, gratitude, kindness, compassion, and faith. I benefited on both sides of this exchange, having received a flash of insight that this moment was coincident with profoundly pivotal moments in my life. Shortly after sending this FutureMe message I received a flash of insight, which influenced my path of healing starting in autumn 2020. And I received a simultaneous flash of insight and inspiration in autumn 2021, when receiving this message from my earlier self, and acknowledging this remarkable connection.

My favorite question, “How good can it get?” provides an open-ended invitation to invite and to sense wonderful opportunities in every aspect of our lives. Sometimes, these are opportunities we’ve not experienced before, and sometimes there are perspectives we’ve not yet fully considered. We’ve reliably witnessed some truly amazing reality shifts over the past twenty-plus years of reporting them in RealityShifters, and any time you’d like to remind yourself of some of the remarkable changes we’ve witnessed, I welcome you to browse through a few issues, and restore your sense of wonder.

The Difference between the Mandela Effect and Manifestation

csl2016nov22I’ve been asked recently whether there is a difference between the Mandela effect and manifestation–and if there is a difference, what that might be.

The short answer is: Yes, there is a difference, and it has a lot to do with conscious intent. A trending monicker for reality shifts is “Mandela Effect,” in which many people may notice changes that seemingly have nothing to do with anything anyone was consciously wishing for, whereas in the case of “instant manifestation” and quantum jumps, we’re focused on a specific intention.

Mandela Effects and Reality Shifts

Mandela Effects and reality shifts often seem random and unexpected, surprising us with such things as: unexpected movie dialogue in a familiar scene, changes in writing in books we thought we knew by heart, and the occasional deceased celebrity being noticed unexpectedly alive again. In contrast, manifestation and quantum jumps typically occur after we focus on a specific desired outcome, such as locating a coveted parking spot, or suddenly feeling as if we’ve had enough rest after a short night’s sleep of tossing and turning.

QJ200x303Manifestation and Quantum Jumps

In the realm of manifestation, I’ve reported on hundreds of experiences involving such things as: improved health, broken-down or out-of-gas cars that start, and radically improved finances and relationships. In addition to these, many of the quantum jumps shared on the realityshifters website and in my book, “Quantum Jumps” include case studies of people teleporting through dangerous situations, such as safely past oncoming vehicles or falling steel beams they seemingly have no way to avoid. One useful example of how to enjoy benefits from ‘faking it until you make it’ and jumping to what feels like a parallel reality is believing you’ve slept well, even if you haven’t. Researchers at Colorado College conducted a study demonstrating the positive effects of such placebo sleep–which is one of dozens of similar laboratory-tested, simple things you can do to quickly become smarter, stronger, more confident, in better relationships, and feeling less pain that I share in my book, Quantum Jumps.

Overlap and  Commonalities

There appears to be a spectrum of continuity between the seemingly random surprises of Mandela Effects/reality shifts and consciously intended manifestation/quantum jumps, with a bit of overlap in the middle. I’ve experienced being part of a small group of people who start off experiencing seemingly random reality shifts / Mandela Effects, and end up witnessing what would more accurately be called quantum jumps / manifestation. These areas of overlap can be recognized when something is observed to “flip-flop” back and forth a few times before finally settling down at some point. During such flip-flops, we get a chance to consider our intentions.

As disconcerting as this experience can seem at the time, I am immensely grateful when such “flip-flops” occur, since they provide me with validation that I am, indeed, experiencing genuine shifts in reality, and not merely some kind of ‘memory glitch,’ as some classical scientists and reporters assert. Furthermore, I am grateful to have what I feel to be an opportunity to make a choice between which reality I’d truly most enjoy to experience, based on which one I’m more emotionally and energetically attached to (with whatever strong feelings I may have). I do realize this is a bit like being shown two possible desserts on a tray by a waiter in a restaurant–and the one I get is the one I am most entangled with. That is the moment all my spiritual “inner work” pays off, so hopefully I don’t end up with something I’m still “working through.”

And if I’m sufficiently relaxed, energized and detached, I’ve noticed that it seems that what gets settled on tends to be what I might ever-so-slightly prefer, so it seems to me almost as if I’m being asked by the Universe “Do you like this?” “Or how about this?” “Which one do you like better?” “Want to check it again–how about this?” “Or this?” 🙂

In the cases where no such flip-flopping occurs, the transition to a new reality can seem seamless and smooth, as if it was simply a natural progression and nothing out of the ordinary at all. I feel this is why so many people are blissfully unaware of the number of shifts they actually experience each day–simply because these shifts don’t often seem exceptional, but rather are just part of the way we each experience daily life.

Significance of Numbers of Experiencers

There are those who say there is another difference between Mandela Effects and manifestation other than conscious intent, stating that Mandela effects impact many people, whereas manifestation is experienced by one person at a time. While this might seem true at first glance, my research shows that’s an inaccurate oversimplification. What I’ve learned from 18 years of studying reality shifts and conducting two separate surveys in April 2000 and 2013 is that while reality shifts and Mandela Effects are often witnessed by many people, sometimes there are just a few people recognizing a particular alternate history, and sometime only one. Similarly, reports of manifestation and quantum jumps typically involve a single experiencer–though there are times when groups of people witness instantaneous shifts in reality that are greatly appreciated and had been hoped for and intended.

cynthiavajraA Time of Global Awakening

At this time when increasing reports of Mandela Effects and reality shifts being observed, we seem to be experiencing a time of global awakening in which we are gaining a glimpse of how collective consciousness operates. Within collective consciousness, our thoughts and feelings are capable of influencing world events, and influencing the past as well as the present and future. While at first these shifts may appear random, they can provide us with awareness of how we can collectively invite positive experiences of how good things can get for everyone.

Mandela Effects / reality shifts represent a call to action for all of us to acknowledge that rather than focusing primarily on ego-satisfaction and ego-goals, we’ve arrived at a point when humanity as a whole is beginning to climb the steps of stages of psychosocial development, something akin to what psychologist Erik Erikson proposed for individuals. Humanity is currently in a phase something like infancy, in which we are dealing with matters of Trust VS Distrust when it comes to knowing if we can share goals and thoughts and intentions with others. This is just the first step, and it’s essential that we come to a good state of awareness of how to do this in large groups of people we barely know (or perhaps don’t really know at all) before we can proceed to the next step of development to something like Autonomy VS Shame and Doubt (similar to the so-called “terrible twos” that toddlers go through when they often delight in saying “No!” to everything).

For the best experiences of reality shifts and quantum jumps, I recommend remembering to keep asking, “How good can it get?”

Quantum Jumping to Find True Love

Cynthia Sue Larson

Imagine that everything in your life has been a dream, and you are just waking up for the first time right now. Can you feel a jolt of energy as you look around your surroundings–with a fresh sense of wonder that in some way you are here for the first time?

This exercise is designed to improve mindful awareness. When you envision you are starting your life with a completely fresh beginning in this very moment… you can feel a heightened state of awareness regarding all the possibilities open to you right here, right now. Mindfulness is the key to appreciating the reality we’re currently in, as well as recognizing the direction we’re moving in, and the direction we’d most like to go.

HALT! Are you Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired?

Notice whether you’re feeling hungry, angry, lonely, or tired (H.A.L.T.). If you are feeling any of these things, you must first take care of your basic needs. Just as grocery shoppers are advised not to go shopping on an empty stomach so as to not purchase impulse items that tend to be junk food rather that what’s best for us, all life changes you make will be better coming from a place of strength.

When you’ve halted for just a moment to ask, “Am I hungry, angry, lonely or tired?” you can rise above relapsing into any old patterns you’d rather leave behind. Eat good food if you’re hungry. Get more sleep and rest if you’re tired. Exercise, write in a private journal, or talk with a trusted friend if you’re angry. Connect with others if you’re lonely.

Envision Seeing a Possible You with Your True Love

In a multiverse in which every single physical thing–including you–exists in a superposition of states, there are a multitude of options open to you right now. This means that amidst infinite possibilities, there is a you who has already found true love and is enjoying a healthy, respectful, loving relationship right now. This possible you knows the secret to how to find and keep true love, is enjoying the benefits of being in a wonderful relationship… and can help you find true love in your life.

You can envision meeting this possible you through entering a daydream or meditation state, imagining all the details of being in the presence of this possible you. Know that simply being in the presence of this possible you grants you access to feeling, knowing, and harmonizing your thoughts, emotions, and feelings with the state of being in a relationship based on true love. While you might be tempted to focus on the person your parallel self is in a relationship with, and that’s OK, make sure you pay special attention to the alternate you. Notice what that you is wearing, what that other you is saying, how that other you is behaving in subtle and not-so-subtle ways.

As you see a possible you enjoying being in such a positive relationship, get the attention of that possible you, and ask to receive whatever it takes so you, too, can find and keep your true love in your life.

Make the Quantum Jump

When you come out of the meditation / daydream in which you saw and felt a possible you with your true love, take some time to write down what you noticed, if anything, that was different about how the possible you who’s found true love spoke, moved, and interacted.

Write down whatever you may have received from the other possible you who is already with their true love. If you got a sense of receiving feelings of confidence or being more relaxed, for example, describe what you felt. If you felt a sense of knowing you are intrinsically worthy of love, jot down everything that will later remind you of how that felt. If you heard your other parallel universes self tell you something, write it down. The idea here is to lock on to the sense of being at one with the feeling of experiencing true love.

Most of all, remember the feeling you get of being in such a loving relationship. Now that you’ve seen another possible you in an ideal relationship based on true love, know that this is attainable for you. You can also remind yourself of what true love relationships are all about by reading books, watching movies, and listening to songs that take you to that blissful, ecstatic state. By locking onto these new emotional / energetic coordinates, you are helping ensure this reality is on a bee-line straight to you.

The Honeymoon EffectThe Honeymoon Effect

If you’ve had past relationships that were less than stellar, and doubt your ability to experience true love, I think you’ll love the wonderful new book by biologist, Bruce Lipton, The Honeymoon Effect: The Science of Creating Heaven on Earth. One of the things I love most about Bruce Lipton is the fearless way he shares intimate details about his life, with such joy and contagious zest for life that one feels one’s spirits lifting even when hearing tales of past traumatic events. What makes Lipton’s new book, “The Honeymoon Effect” such a treasure is how Lipton shares his passion for understanding the underlying biology of our interpersonal chemistry side-by-side with autobiographical accounts of what’s worked and what’s not worked in his relationships in the past.

Would you believe that the cascade of chemicals that drive love can be unleashed not just by falling in love with a person, but also by falling in love with a project or idea? Lipton assures us this is so, since “wherever there is passion, not far behind are the potent chemical brews that motivate us to pursue the objects of our desire.” As an author who once made the mistake of filling the bathtub while working on a chapter of my book, Karen Kimball and the Dream Weaver’s Web, this is something I definitely relate to.

As it turns out, the keys to living happily ever after with one’s true love are found within. Lipton explains through tales from his own relationship lessons in the past why it’s not enough to simply find the man or woman of our dreams. People subconsciously seek familiar patterns from the past, so unless we address underlying psychological issues in ourselves, relationships will only ever last until the initial bursts of love endorphins wear off.

Readers seeking a how-to book might want to dive into chapter four, “Four Minds Don’t Think Alike,” to get to the heart of weird ways we so often find our partner knows just how to push our buttons at the point we know ‘the honeymoon is over.’ Lipton explains that what is actually happening when the love of our life is no longer acting all that loving is that they are expressing their subconscious mind, with all of its programming instilled in us going all the way back to childhood… and before that, into the womb. Our subconscious mind soaked up a great deal of our environment in the form of cascades of chemicals running through our bodies, in such ways that sensitize us to particular repetitive patterns of emotional patterns around us. Fortunately, by becoming mindful, we can reprogram our subconscious mind, so we are compatible with the kind of partners we’d most like to live happily ever after with. Only through such reprogramming can we hope to break free of negative relationship patterns.

The Honeymoon Effect is an inspirational book containing a real-life successful love story, together with lots of recent research in the fields of biology and psychology… and some wonderful tips on how you can become more mindful and successful in love and life. Highly recommended!
