The word “empowerment” is used a lot in personal development circles but what does it really mean in practice?
I’ve put together a checklist for personal empowerment which, when followed, will enable you to embody the principles of empowerment in your everyday life. Some of these come from my own experience and others come from learning from other great teachers in fields of personal and spiritual development.

Negative thinking is a recipe for disaster! If you understand the principles of manifestation, you’ll know that you get what you focus on – every thought, and the feelings that accompany it, carry energy that is the fuel for manifestation. When you allow negative thinking into your consciousness, you are more than likely going to manifest a negative outcome.

You buy all the latest books, you watch the videos, and you go to the latest guru’s seminars. Just like running on a treadmill, you’re working really hard and getting nowhere, or at least not as far or as fast as you’d like!

For years I would have disagreed with that statement. I would have asserted that it was never about the ‘project’ of me… it was about justice, and righting wrongs, and serving the higher good, and about the truth coming to light. Now comes the realization that there is a single end result of all projects. Every effort I made, everything I was involved in, served, ultimately, to improve me. The kingdom is within, as we all know, or ought to know, since we’ve been told in oh so many ways. All projects have to do with the kingdom.
