Fear of this sort is a powerful ally. It alerts to danger and is a call to action. Living a spiritual life, a life of higher consciousness does not mean that we will be immune from physical danger. It does mean that even if we can’t control our outer environment, we can control our inner environment.

In a new study published in the journal Emotion, a team of researchers made the case that happiness is hogging more than its fair share of the attention as the emotion most strongly connected to a healthier body. According to ancient knowledge within TCM, our bodies run on a “clock” that is reflected through our energy meridians. Meridians are essentially energy highways that hold and transport Qi, blood, and fluids throughout the body. Qi is believed to be everywhere on Earth; when you’re healthy, Qi is flowing freely through you, whereas when you’re unhealthy, you either have a blockage from Qi or your “Qi tank” is low.

The voice is a window into our own subconscious mind and gives insights into ourselves at deeper levels than our consciousness allows…Emotions that we have suppressed – surprise us.
